Aha, that beeping, could you tell me what that is? My P38 does it but at really slow speeds, probably because it needs resetting after being abandoned for years and a lot of components have worn down and need replacing, but the darn dash is Dutch and I can't read it yet. May I ask for some insight? Also sounds like the engine conversion went well, love seeing a P38 running again!
That beeping is a speed warning on the dash. The P38 came with the ability to set an audible speed warning that would beep if you went over a set speed. You can change the speed warning limit by pressing the top button on the stalk. It’s annoying so I turned it off with a nanocom
@apollogenerator9837 well you can set it to a higher speed by pressing the button on the stalk without any nano, just keep pressing the button and you’ll see the speed alarm value increase up to 120km per hour and at least then it won’t be annoying you at low speed.
@@tompage Hmm, I shall have a look at that tomorrow, is it the little back and forth rocker on the indicator stalk? A lot of markings have worn off on mine. But if i can make that beeping disappear it would be lovely.
Super 😮

@@tompage Many thanks for the info! When I get my Nano I should be able to resolve most of the issues. Mine is set annoyingly low...

@apollogenerator9837 on the edge of the left hand stalk there are two buttons and I believe it’s the top one
