The King's Head is a Greene King pub and hotel located in the centre of the small North Yorkshire town of Masham. Downstairs in the King's Head is the pub, retaurant and reception and upstairs are the bedrooms (there are also some ground-floor rooms at the back of the hotel).
My room at the King's Head was room 7, and cost £60 for one night on a room only basis. The room wasn't very large but it was comfortable enough with a double bed, desk, chair, ironing board and iron, open wardrobe, hair dryer, TV, tea and coofee making facilities with a tea pot. Plug sockets and USB points were at the side of the bed.
The bathroom had a shower over the bath, sink and toilet. It was adequate for my one night stay.
The staff at the hotel were friendly and gave good customer service.
The breakfast (which I paid for) was tasty enough and very nice.
There is a large public car park outside of the hotel also.
I would stay here again if I was visitng Masham in the future.
