It's kinda like the Pokemon community where competitors can break the rules on stream but because the TOs have so much influence over decisions, nothing will get done about it. Nevermind the fact that cheating is so normalized over there anyway.
This is what bothers me. Leffen has undeniably done wrong, and that's ok. Everyone has done wrong, hax too. What I find so upsetting is that Leffen has been forgiven by Hungrybox, Mew2King, and a lot of the Melee community, but he somehow fails to offer the same forgiveness to hax that has been afforded to him by so many people. I'm not sure what the word for it is, but it baffles and upsets me that Leffen is unable to see how he could have EASILY been the one perma banned had it not been for the mercy of those he wronged. Irony at its finest.
It's not irony. Your mistake is making the assumption that he doesn't know exactly what he is doing when he deliberately manipulates and bullies his way to do what he wants. These are deliberate intentional decisions, not accidents.
Bro. I wanna listen to the video but you keep playing all these BOPS in the background lol Love the video AND the taste in OSTs. Thank you for your hard work

Believe it or not, sp1nda actually spoke up once about how Leffen's actions actively hurt the community and he should be held accountable. Sadly, people brushed it off.
This was an incredibly good video. Great points on the TO's and other "higher-ups" within the community that continue to enable and perpetuate his behavior. Imagine the amount of pain saved if they just slapped him with a permanent ban and had it done with
Leffen is easily the most straight EVIL person in all of esports. Not even subtle, either. Hes probably a machiavellian person which is honestly scary. The fact he isnt banned but haxx is, is just flat out insane.
That's besides the point though. People have gotten banned for less, and those rules, however flawed they might be in either spirit or letter, are not being enforced for him in the same way they're enforced for other players. It's clear favoritism. The actual validity of the rules only matters if they're being enforced evenly.

Honestly, the more I get reminded of the injustice which is Leffen's transgressions (other than the Sweden ban) going unpunished, the more I get bitter towards the blatantly biased, unqualified and hypocritical (add other adjectives here) "top heads" in this community community. It's actually a joke.
Treating Leffen like the heel of the smash community has at least one major flaw; heels are acting. I may not watch a whole lot of wrestling, but I get the feeling they're not actually trying to break their opponent's leg or disregard the rules of the match, it's part of the performance. Leffen isn't acting, that's how he actually is, and there are consequences to real people for the way he behaves.
Whats even crazier is a former smasher named JK was temporarily banned for the following: attempted vehicular homicide against Charliedaking, S2H, Technicals and others.
Just in case people don't see the irony: JK got a TEMPORARY ban for actively trying to kill a group of people. Hax got a PERMANENT ban for making a 2-hour long video against Leffen where he compared Leffen to Hitler. Like, both are pretty bad, but I don't necessarily agree with the literal attempted manslaughter having a less severe punishment than the verbal harassment.
@@jakethedog1483 Yeah, Technicals himself said it multiple times on his Twitter account. JK even got his ban lifted and got banned AGAIN after he threatened a few people.
It feels like this video doesnt acknowledge its lack of perspective. Its evident that a lot of people within the community *think* he's changed since 2013 and they also believe he intentionally plays a villian. This video probably has merit, but it falls short establishing credibility by actually talking to people like who know him, like Armada, and peoole who emforce the community guidelines. Unless leffen does what some smash players in 2020 did he's not getting banned or he could pull the ltg ceroblast incident be a transphobe
@@TheNoMoreGamercrimes I know he did
Criminal conspiracy and slander for defamation
Has anyone asked Leffen to show proof of death threats?
This is what bothers me. Leffen has undeniably done wrong, and that's ok. Everyone has done wrong, hax too. What I find so upsetting is that Leffen has been forgiven by Hungrybox, Mew2King, and a lot of the Melee community, but he somehow fails to offer the same forgiveness to hax that has been afforded to him by so many people. I'm not sure what the word for it is, but it baffles and upsets me that Leffen is unable to see how he could have EASILY been the one perma banned had it not been for the mercy of those he wronged. Irony at its finest.
Entitled is the word that comes to my mind.
It's not irony. Your mistake is making the assumption that he doesn't know exactly what he is doing when he deliberately manipulates and bullies his way to do what he wants. These are deliberate intentional decisions, not accidents.
I think you should add Leffen's name to the title. Good video.
Not a bad idea :)
Now do one on ltg
Lucid would probably end up getting assassinated if he actually did that.
Stop promoting that cringer. Nobody cares about LTG
I feel like this video could have had an impact but the community it gonna ignore it cause technicals is in it
Bro. I wanna listen to the video but you keep playing all these BOPS in the background lol
Love the video AND the taste in OSTs. Thank you for your hard work
Can’t wait for Leffen’s tweet
9:28
“he’s got old reliable”
spongebob manifests into frame
no YOU got old reliable tech
I got permabanned from Leffen's Twitch chat for advocating against hard-pressing L-cancels. He pulled up my chat history, read my points and said whatever, then saw me say "If you soft-press L-cancel, maybe you too can get 4th at Genesis!"
Instant ban, but I made him bleed. ggs
I remember you, homie. You're an absolute legend, for that one. 🫡🫡
@@LucidMakesVideos - Thank you for your part in calling out double standards for justice.🤝
The fact that nobody in the melee community has stood up for is really sickening.
Believe it or not, sp1nda actually spoke up once about how Leffen's actions actively hurt the community and he should be held accountable. Sadly, people brushed it off.
people are scared to speak up.
Thank you for making this video
Leffen is the worst human to grace this community (and that’s saying a lot)
I only know Leffen cuz everyone makes fun of him whenever he appeared on a tourney, Im no surprised so many ppl trash talk him
11 yrs after the ban and this guy is still acting a fool. Holy christ, he gets a million 2nd chances.
I'm a simple man, I see a video bringing light on Leffen's crimes, I like and subscribe
This was an incredibly good video. Great points on the TO's and other "higher-ups" within the community that continue to enable and perpetuate his behavior. Imagine the amount of pain saved if they just slapped him with a permanent ban and had it done with
Honestly, the guy just seems like a horrible person through and through and this is coming from someone not in the smash community.
Great video #FreeHax
Hell, FreeMelee at this point. Screw these TO’s tolerating this.
Leffen is easily the most straight EVIL person in all of esports. Not even subtle, either. Hes probably a machiavellian person which is honestly scary.
The fact he isnt banned but haxx is, is just flat out insane.
So glad to see a fellow hax truther
Pretty sure if the old smash boards were posted everyone would be banned
And people ignore all this, because he press the buttons real good. 🤯
Reminder that the Smash community's code of conduct isn't made by an official law.
That's besides the point though. People have gotten banned for less, and those rules, however flawed they might be in either spirit or letter, are not being enforced for him in the same way they're enforced for other players. It's clear favoritism. The actual validity of the rules only matters if they're being enforced evenly.
No tournament or CoC is made by an "official law". It's exactly as it sounds, a Code of Conduct. You think EVO or Genesis is going to the white house to get their CoC passed into laws?
@@tiredwhitemagesquared issue is if they enforce on leffen they have to enforce on everyone. thats a huge portion of the community just gone.
@@johnmarkson1990
Good. Don't keep toxicity in the community when you can remove it.
@@hadouradiance3566 i read the rules and i have broken some of them too. if they enforce the rules we will just make our own community. people like zain mkleo will move into our community cause its way bigger and competitive.
Love the use of Jet Set Radio music
Mastered getting away with it is a generous term. The smash pro scene seems worse than highschool drama
Awesome video dude!
Liked and subscribed.
"oh hey, it's that guy who was mentioned in emplemon's video on hbox, i wonder what's up with him"
Did not expected the Deep Rock Galactic soundtrack. Rock and stone!
Good video bro
I'm so glad hbox came back from his "heel run" he got so much undeserved hate for practically no reason.. I'm sorry you find puff boring but that doesn't mean you throw a crab at the guy
This was very well put together, and great job interviewing Technicals. I can tell you put a lot of work into this video, and I think others notice as well! Hope you get tons of subs from this 🙏
Surprised elegant is not on the list then again he is an ultimate player
Great documented video my dude.
You are a great communicator and video maker. The way you articulate yourself in these videos makes it so easy to grasp whatever topic you're bringing forth.
Honestly, the more I get reminded of the injustice which is Leffen's transgressions (other than the Sweden ban) going unpunished, the more I get bitter towards the blatantly biased, unqualified and hypocritical (add other adjectives here) "top heads" in this community community. It's actually a joke.
Leffen is so toxic. And he is genuinely just “A terrible human being”, to use his own words.
"For some reason, the Smash community's tolerance is lower than other esports"
...Yeah... THAT'S why their banlist is longer... right...
So sad to hear that you got a lifetime ban at all smash events for this video 😮💨
You nailed it bro, good work
Whats even crazier is a former smasher named JK was temporarily banned for the following:
attempted vehicular homicide against Charliedaking, S2H, Technicals and others.
Just in case people don't see the irony:
JK got a TEMPORARY ban for actively trying to kill a group of people.
Hax got a PERMANENT ban for making a 2-hour long video against Leffen where he compared Leffen to Hitler.
Like, both are pretty bad, but I don't necessarily agree with the literal attempted manslaughter having a less severe punishment than the verbal harassment.
Hold on, HOLD ON!!!!... Is this true?
@@jakethedog1483 Yeah, Technicals himself said it multiple times on his Twitter account. JK even got his ban lifted and got banned AGAIN after he threatened a few people.
@@Akari_A_ people are killing eachother over a game, wtf?!...
@@jakethedog1483 Nah, JK had actual mental illnesses and the attempted homicide had nothing to do with the game itself.
Without these things, it lacks the ability to truly drive its point home.
FREE HAX
You didn’t say this in the video but Leffen also corroborated a false story about ZeRo, a pro player, allegedly showing explicit content to minors, which was confirmed to be a false allegation made by Jisu, an artist and climate activist, in an attempt to cancel ZeRo, as such Leffen committed Perjury, which is a felony, as such Leffen should also face consequences from the law
Y'all are overthinking this hard asf
13:06 hey hey hey it also quite literally fucking stinks.
Leffen was doing okay at first when he came back to the scene with this villain arch type but just continued to push the boundaries on whats acceptable...then you couple that with him being manipulative when he starts to receive hate back is just wildly hialrious. Leffen cant truly see how much of a spineless, immature, going on 30 but still a child type nerd he really is...
Wouldn’t insomnia be considered physical health instead of mental health? Being unable to sleep seems like a bodily defect rather than a psychological one
4:12 Bro, what the snowflake? Insomnia isn't serious. Like, if you gave trouble sleeping, that can be insomnia
Now is the best time to leave that dumpsterfire of a community behind. Did wonders for my life.
Well done Lucid, TF2 players also happen to like Melee.
Leffen can break the rules on frame 1 and he's invincible while doing it. Hard to beat that
Was that the Deep Rock Galactic swarm theme?
AYY OH AYY OH, LEFFEN's GOT TO GO
Leffen is so fking repulsive.
The first name on the Global Ban List looks familiar...feel like I've met them somewhere....Anyways, God bless everyone!
IMO should be replayed
Where did you get the permanent ban list? I couldn’t find it
Why did you edit off the timestamps of certain leffen tweets? Makes it seem like you are trying to link unrelated events together. Just a strange choice on a well done video.
