The information I have discovered puts the Kingjoy half ball diameter they use at 70mm. Sometimes in their illustrations I see "7.2 cm" which is 72mm. Meanwhile I'm used to seeing brands like Manfrotto consistently spec 60, 75 and 100mm half balls. That puts this tripod and head out of compatibility with other brands if I should in the future want to upgrade or swap across my setups.

The tightening knob mechanism that controls the direction of the head. Does it loosen after a few turns? I bought a Milibo head and the tightening knob just loses it tightness after a few turns. Quite useless. The milibo staff are not replying to my queries.
