  • Ya don't need The Silberschnitt Running Pliers...but if you're going to add one special tool to your stained glass arsenal, this is the one I'd pick.
I like it a looooooot better than tapping glass (that can get a lil chippy occasionally) and even better than pressure breaking.
You can find the Silberschnitt (& replacement jaws if ya already have one) on My Favorite Tools & Supplies page here:

If ya want to join your fellow Glass Hoarders for funsies & get all your stained glass questions answered by yours truly (that's me!), find out more about my Peace, Love, & Stained Glass Community here: www.mountainwo...

Your energy is amazing. I am in the struggle bus community and keep cracking all my pieces with these, but your video made me willing to try again

I put off buying one for over a year due to the cost... what was I waiting for! Just got mine and this tutorial helped and was entertaining too!

Thank you so much! I just got a pair of those for myself as a gift after almost 15 years of using traditional running pliers. I looked at the instructions (in English) and could not fully understand what they meant, (apparently I've inhaled way too much glass powder!), lol! Anyway, this was super helpful. I also really like how lightweight they are too. I will keep practicing with them. Thanks again!

@@3PairDesigns 😂Thanks! 💕 I had trouble to when I first got them too. Ya get sooooo used to the tools you’re used to. Sometimes ya just gotta see them in action!
