Judging from the size of the allosaurs , I think that rather than an allosaurs it was a saurophaganax.

Just an idea, if you left some strategic parts of the masking tape bare you could still potentially pose the finished figurine from areas like the neck and the arms though in those parts there would obviously be less detail.

where did the render for the allosaurus come from? Because the arms are posed wrong in the render which caused a bit of an anatomical mistake. In battle at big rock, the allosaurus had non-pronated arms which is pretty interesting for a jurassic park dinosaur. A paleoartist consulted with the team to make the adult allosaurus as accurate as it could be within a piece of jurassic park media. I'm bringing it up because it was quite fascinating for me!

Fantastic model making! The only things are that the head is too wide, it should be narrower and the arms are a little bit short (it is the film's fault tho).
