Hello, I modify and decorate my shuttles. I was selling them in my Etsy shop for many years but recently am taking a break due to other commitments. I'm hoping to still occasionally have some for sale but cannot provide a specific timescale I'm afraid. (www.etsy.com/shop/lacossette).
Hi Mary Jane, I'm not sure what you mean by "opening up the bead thread". The shuttle doesn't pass through the loop that's inside the bead, if that's what you mean...? You remove the paperclip and put your hook through the small loop that is left after you remove the paperclip and with your hook, grab the shuttle thread and pull a loop through, then pass your shuttle through this loop. Does that make sense? Does that address your problem?
You make it look so simple. I'll have to try it this way. I really love your videos.
Thank you Michelle! :-)
I really do love it. This is so much faster and easier! Thank you so much for sharing and providing your excellent instructions.
You're very welcome Robin, thank you for your comment! :-)
Thank you! I was just given a container of large beads, and this is exactly what I hoped to find.
Great! Thank you Diane! :-)
Yes! I more than like it...I LOVE it!
This is the way I add beads to knitting, as well, as I go!
Thank you for taking the time to post your tutorials!
Thank you Maria! Glad you... more than like it! :-) It's very satisfying for me when people say they find tutorials helpful and useful.

You're very welcome! :-)
Where do you get your shuttles? Yours are so nice and the ones they sell in the store or so plain. Your shuttles also seem to be much smaller.

Hi Marcia, you rock the grey hair! :-)
I am having trouble opening up the bead thread to pass the shuttle through when joining. The thread does not seem to slide for me. Any suggestions?
