Thank you Mr. Simpson for posting these HD classic Saints games without having to deal with the all those sh*tty commercials! I'm a native New Orleanean and die hard Saints fan living abroad.
This is an extremely underrated Monday Night Football Game. It is truly entertaining from beginning to end. Both teams played sloppy mistake filled football, but it still had a high score and Drew Brees and Michael Turner both had a big night. It was so unpredictable. It's a game that truly keeps you on the edge of your seat. Truly shows how underappreciated our rivalry is. This game needs way more attention
My first semester fond memories in the auditorium watching the saints in the Superbowl in February Peyton interception was a big highlight I remembered until this day .
I was in 3rd grade lol. ⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️ WHO DAT!!!!! I was 9 then, and I'm 19 now. I can't believe the saints 2009 Superbowl season was 10 years ago. Time really flies
😔😔😔Mannnnnnn, I miss the days whn we would just DOMINATE mf's!!! I remember after we beat the BRAKES off the Giants that season, I went to work that Monday morning and put in for a vacation day for the day after Superbowl Sunday because I knew we were going to the Superbowl. I told my supervisor that we were going to the Superbowl, so I need that Monday off. He was like "😏Yeah right." Crazy part is.... I forgot that I put in the request, so whn I came to work that Monday after the game, everybody was like "What are you doing here?... Your supposed to off today." The first thing I said was.."Fukkkkkk.. If I would have remembered that... I would've went home(New Orleans) for the game!!"
Around 2330 in the first quarter when Pierre Thomas made the first touchdown this reminds me of Leonard fournette the way how he runs. I hope the Saints signs him.
I can't stop thinking what in hell happen to Darren sharper why he have to made look the horrible choices that he made the dude has the looks money he could sleep with any women I hope he find forgiveness from those he hurt US THE PUBLIC WE ain't no one to judge him only God and the victims have the right to do that
It truly is one of the great tragedies of the NFL. Sharper was an unbelievably great safety BEFORE 2009. Then, at 34 years old, he has one of the all time great seasons for a defensive back in 2009. 9 INTs for the THIRD time in his career, sets an NFL record for INT return yards, leads the league in defensive TDs with 3, and does it all in 14 games. He was a key player in the Saints run to the super bowl. Then, he tarnishes what is a sure fire hall of fame career with his actions. Such a shame.
sure, i've only got about 7 games, but i'll post what i have. don't know if you've seen these 3 that are already on RUclips: vs packers: ruclips.net/video/DW_N8R_B8fE/видео.html vs lions: ruclips.net/video/kTv8oWujrYU/видео.html vs steelers: ruclips.net/video/k6qq0Lb4PQk/видео.html
This is the 'bounty gate' team. Now we know why they won games. I'm a Viking fan, but in all fairness, AP, etc beat themselves just as much as the Saints did in the playoff game. And the guilty parties were punished too so all is good. The 'Taints just fell apart when Brees retired, but hey, Brady is back so I won't b surprised if Brees does the same but he'll have a new coach if he does. SKOL!!
@@randallbexell3481 didn't your fans hate Brett Favre and enjoy watching him get pounded when he played for the Packers? Also, this Saints defense is overrated. It was just average. Yes they did force a lot of turnovers, but they gave up so many yards and more points than I'm ok with. Also, despite the bounty, they didn't really injure that many opponents. You see, it was our offense that was the strong suite for us. We had so many offensive weapons. We had the best scoring offense in the league. I'm so salty, because Drew Brees should have won MVP that year
@randallbexell3481 We beat the Vikings plain & simple. It takes a Defense to force turnovers right??? AP who ended up becoming a Saint ironically, but was traded because we had AK-41 but I understand you have some salt and then you’re at least admitting your team was defeated. Did the Saints give up yards? Yes they did but we forced key turnovers. We knew he’s going to make interceptions happen because he tries to force things and you have all should know that as a Vikings fan being Brett Favre used to light you guys up for years did you beat him a few times but you guys have never got to the Super Bowl and won i’m not gonna lie. I feel bad for you guys. I pull for teams that are similar to my Saints that have bad luck but you guys have had so many chances and blew it. It happened sadly but this game that NFC championship game was there we beat the Vikings and all you have to do is google 2006 packers bounty gate, you’ll find more stuff about research more stuff about in the 80s 70s etc. all the way up to 2009 wasn’t just the Saints and if we were a bounty gate team they still have yet to show the evidence that they said they had right? My point is I feel your pain bro. But we beat the Vikings your team sorry but we beat you guys. You guys had defeated us every time we played y’all in the playoffs, but never won the big game. The Saints were robbed as you know with the Nola no-call everybody and their mother knows that. It’s still stings because we boycott that Super Bowl drop the ratings and everybody around the world knew we should’ve been in the Super Bowl down in my opinion still punished us because he needed a scapegoat because all of the lawsuits from wives suing the NFL for concussions, etc. my Saints were the team to catch the blame because every team and even your Vikings had a bounty program, but it was meant to not really hurt nobody and if the Saints had one go back and look, I have we didn’t hurt that many people we must’ve been the worst bounty program in history. I think people only feel that way because of Kurt Warner getting nailed after he threw an interception and clearly became able to be hit trying to go for a tackle I don’t care if you’re a quarterback or not, you could be hit he even admitted that which was in the NFC divisional playoffs. Then farve gets hurt ironically the next week they weren’t trying to hurt him. It was a bad hit, but Brett Favre just the toughest SOB‘s the NFL ever had he got right back in the game that penalty killed you guys took you out of field-goal range and even then many of us Saints fans thought you guys were going to kick And beat by the same score we beat you guys. Tracy Porter read him and you know from Favre beating you guys. He will chance it when you’re rolling right you don’t throw across your body that crowd noise got to him.If this game was in Minnesota. I don’t know if the Saints win, but clearly this was the Super Bowl don’t get me wrong. The Colts were undefeated for 14 straight weeks the Saints 13 but you guys end up finishing one game below the Saints it was meant to be I’d be proud of your Vikings because they still fought after all those fumbles the two interceptions I mean, you guys recovered some of the fumbles, it was just a classic NFC title game. The better team won that day and that was the Saints. ⚜️⚜️⚜️
Back to the classics right here baby they need to upload some more classic games like this
RIP WILL SMITH
This was the saints championship year!
I appreciate 2009 more with each passing year; what a magical time to be a Who Dat. Hopefully, we get to experience that again.
We should had but the zebras and Goodell shit on us for money in 18. Still makes me sick.
I'm making a bold prediction. Spencer rattler the QB the drafted late is going to bring the saints back into prominence
This is getting me through the off season. Thanks
This is getting me through the season
Sitting here in 2020, watching this game in the same year I graduated high school in 09. Damn where did the time go?
Time starts going faster and faster.
This really helped me with last season. We were so robbed.

Thanks to you to Richard, love watching any Saints games you upload.
Thank you, Bart Simpson, for posting this game. Too bad the high compression makes the video blocky and the ball sometimes disappears.
I was in like 5th grade and my moms was helping me with my homework and we was watching this. Goodoledays

57:34 Even as a Saints fan, this is an impressive interception.
Grimes had some good picks, like the one hander against Calvin Johnson in 2014

Ladies and gentlemen it’s not even CLOSE
Around 2330 in the first quarter when Pierre Thomas made the first touchdown this reminds me of Leonard fournette the way how he runs. I hope the Saints signs him.
You could never convince me Gruden isn't on cocaine
