Barron River Gorge

DJI Mini 4 Pro. Filmed in 4K late August 2024. Flight up the Barron River into the lower reaches of the Barron River Gorge from Caravonica, Cairns.It had been windy the previous day so an early morning flight was now in order. A magic day with still conditions and wisps of cloud clinging to the mountains. The gorge was in shadow but the surrounding slopes, clad with dense tropical vegetation, were bathed in early morning golden light. This area suffered from severe flooding in December 2023 .
