Arabikothanur at Kolar district has a Hero stone park to preserve Kolar’s rich heritage at Arabikothanur village in Kolar taluka of Kolar Karnataka
Kolar zilla panchayat officials, heritage activists and historians like Swaminathan Natarajan have not only retrieved more than 60 hero stones lying in a state of neglect in several villages of the district but are also building a dedicated park to preserve these structures at Arabikothanur by effectively utilizing funds under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MNREGA).
