Such a simple, but incredibly profound way to give meaning to our lives. It simply demonstrates that the universe is really one. And we are one. We are just another manifestation of the one. I miss you Thich Nhat Hanh.

Thich Naht Hanh, when I found out he passed away, from this transient world, I bowed on my face and was blessed by him! He was a true Buddha! Truly enlightened! And passing the light to all sorts of peoples! His decorated life proves his Buddhahood! A true master, Saint, sage, spiritual guide, beningn, benevolent, speaking the dialect of enlightenment! As you know, Buddhism is a dialogue! He is a pure, serene, master, who has entered the pure land of the Buddhist, verily the kingdom of God! Thay was special! I will miss you! Yet you live on in my heart!

@jesusochoa3097 facts. Even the Buddha himself knew that when he said "I am not the shore. I am but a boat to get you there. Do not worship me."
Guess we all see how well people listened. I honestly think Buddhism is a companion to Christianity. It helps you prepare your body and mind with discipline and understanding so that we can be the kind of human that God wants us to be in order to follow Him.

I have listened to Thay for over twenty five years and he has had a profound effect on my life. His explanations regarding anxiety and despair are very encouraging. Its only by looking deeply that transformation can take place.I still have some past memories which disturb me but ultimately there is tremendous freedom in his talks. Also there is no dogma in the talks. Its such a pity that
these teachings are not on school curriculums as their potential for lasting personal, and world peace are vast.thank you my friend

As our biology teacher miss Targowska was always saying "Nothing gets lost in the nature". She was always telling us that everything continues, for example when she was talking about ATP. I was always very spiritual and observant and her words matched so well my reality. I continued to be first master of biology, then transformed to be a PhD and I have never had a problem of connecting the nature of the things with scientific approach. It is one and the same.

Also from medicine, there is no "I" as we are clumps of cells in a melting pot, with diversity and boundaries, exiting together in human forms, while other sentient beings are also in clumps of cells but in different forms. We reach wisdom and intelligence to help balance our entropy instead of contributing or accelerating with ignorance.

90years old and still cognisance of all that✌ knowing God consciousness and character and meditation and yoga and taking care of the air and water and what goes in our sustenance we eat, after all cleanliness next to Godliness, should be 1 subject in schools and universities, compulsory awareness sudy, and only then talent, used to add value in a positive and uplifting way. We can transform ourselves and leave behind a better history.

I fully understand that the soul or self is the enduring entity, yet also realize that everything, including the soul, is impermanent. And Thay has said that this is the reason why life exists. And life even is impermanent, thus we are free from the notion of being and non being, birth and death, no coming or going, no same no difference. We are manifestations of different and non different forms...part and whole of our ancestors. And what makes up our form are the five elements of being.

So, we’re really talking about “LOSS”.
We misunderstand loss. We believe we can lose people, circumstances and things... and this causes is GRIEF. So what he is saying is that grief isn’t necessary when we really understand the nature of reality.

Looking deeply into the nature of things is quite simple. It is not about the things or situations themselves but rather the intention behind them. We have two minds: ego, which brings pain and suffering and we have God, the perfect oneness of love. We have a body, which by nature could protect or destroy, depending upon the awareness that chooses either love or something else. This body has been created with an immune system, hair, pigmentation, nails and other things which protect the body and so within the intention behind the creation of the body is love which wills that it’s creation does not suffer. Food has been given to this body to nurture it. Behind all of creation are these intentions woven into the fabric of the universe.

      Thank you.
In the Kaccanaya Gotta Sutta the Buddha is speaking of right view.
He doesn't just say"it's Anicca" because the nature of the fading of Dhammas mentioned in Satipatthana Sutta is more subtle .

    • @nickilovesdogs8137
      @nickilovesdogs8137 9 лет назад

Jamie Narushchen It's much more subtle. I'm just trying to understand. Anitsha from what I have learned is a coming and going, arising and passing away, never clinging to a fixed state in time or matter. It's a beautiful metal state of relaxation.
But in our daily lives we do have the responsibility to be good stewards of planet Earth. We each Can do something to help to end suffering of all beings, animals and humans equally much.

      this conversation is unshaped.
to the buddha samsara is an addiction. a clinging, craving addiction. to become free from the addiction is nibbana. that is the goal of the buddha.

    • @nickilovesdogs8137

+Jamie Narushchen I thought that we had a pleasant conversation. I'm sorry if I came across as unshaped. Didn't mean to. I didn't argue with you at all. Just added my thoughts. Samsara is the never ending cycle of suffering. People are indeed addicted to it. It's sad. I am a student of the Buddha.
