Easily? She tells you in the game that she resisted the first week of torture. This would imply she was being tortured and taunted by the dark lord for at least a few weeks straight. I doubt there are many Jedi who could come out of that with their minds intact, let alone a young headstrong knight like Bastilla.
It makes perfect sense how easily she fell to the dark side. She was raised in a sterile, antiseptic test tube called the Jedi Order, and never got a chance to build up any resistance to dark forces. All she really had was an empty faith in the "wisdom" of the Council, and a haughty spirit.

Revan Is probably wiser than Yoda, from a certain point of view. He knows that both the sides of the force can be used for good, and he also understand that emotions aren't a Path for the dark side, but something that can help a Jedi to reject It. Yoda couldn't see Anakin's suffer and he never understood that If they wanted to bring balance to the force, they had to be a bit closer to the dark side and use both sides. Bastila is one of the best voiced game characters of all times
Revan was fantastic, too. It gives me chills every time I hear him say, "..."
I love being called Revan all the way up to the unknown planet. "But I'm not Revan anymore! I'm Revan! We're not the same people!"
I call him Revan Skywalker. Adding his actual last name makes it seem like he gained a piece of himself back. He isn't Just Revan, a cruel Sith, anymore, he is the Jedi that rallied many to save his galaxy.
The only thing I hated about this game is how easily Bastila falls to the Dark Side, but at least you can bring her back.
what are you implying?
@I Also when Bastila saved Revan's life they shared a bond and she could taste a bit of the dark side that was still in Revan.
All she really had was an empty faith in the "wisdom" of the Council, and a haughty spirit.
lmao someone's not been listening very well to the story XD. It was said that she resisted A WEEK of TORTURE. Most of the Jedi can't even stand that long of torture but those who are strong in the force, yes of course. A week of resisting temptation is hard.
In retrospective this dialogue is so anime. "hoW caN you beat me, your weak, impossiburuuuu!"

I am glad that across Star Wars they kind of make Anakin the outlier. From just the movies you would think the Jedi are right and romance for a Jedi is a bad because it is what lead to his fall. However across books and games love for someone else has saved many Jedi and I think that is more fitting cause loving someone should inspire you to be good.
But it is Anakin's love for his son which saves him so...
See this is why the Sith always prevails simply because the rules of the Jedi Order are what turned many to the dark side
@@miniatureben3558 I thought the Sith were not allowed to love or is it that marriage is not allowed?
@@lukestover2207 Sith are allowed to have relationships, but the Sith ideology discourages compassion and love as 'weak' emotions, and also encourages betrayal.
If you think love makes you weak, and can't trust your partner, it makes any relationship beyond a strictly sexual level pretty much impossible to maintain.
I think it was because Anakin's love consumed him. It clouded his judgement, blinded him. It was an obsession.
Love isn't the issue, it's when that love is all you are

I hope IF they remake this game they give it the old BioWare magic and flesh out the character relationships more, particularly with Revan and Bastila
They should just remaster it.
Kislay Parashar I’d agree to that if the gameplay had aged better. I think a remake is the best bet. Include cut content ( if there is any ) have an enhanced character creator and such. But as long as it is done right of course

just played through this scene again last night, still my first video game romance
Revan could have been the perfect master for Anakin, If he wasn't dead.
You mean in the Time Anakin lived, Revan lived 4000 Years before the Battle of Yavin.
That's just wrong. The dark side can't be used for good and Revan was well aware of that. Revan was not a master of both sides, he simply understood the dark side better because he had been there.
