Fucking great! Love Overkill. Raw, fast, and heavy. Sounds amazing even before Feel the Fire was out. Saw them about 6 or 7 times. Was at Lamours in Brooklyn in '89 or '90 when Dark Angel opened for them. 2 nights in a row! Was there both nights. Great shows. Death rider should have been on Feel the Fire. Legendary song. Overkill is New York thrash personified.
To me and in my honest opinion Rat Skates is one of best metal drummers I ever heard. He is a great drummer with the most awesome coolest name Rat Skates and it's a sad sad shame that he's not with Overkill anymore.
Greetings my German metalhead brother I am from El Paso Texas love Overkill from New Jersey f****** insanely kick ass and someone from Germany halfway around the world is listening to the same stuff I am we are all truly connected metal does a damn good job of that if only the rest of the world could follow us you rock my brother you rock
Thanks for the download man, 34 years ago, the songs are 2 years old by this stage, and STILL sound as great as they did then, a testimony to great talent and a great 4 piece
Great times Great band saw them many times. Rat is a great drummer and cool dude. Bobby, Didi, n Bobby Gus. One of the best metal quartets of there time.....😎🤘🤘🤘

Imagine if he played Hello From The Gutter. That's my favorite song but it didn't feature him because he already before then.

absolutely awesome!
Never understood why death rider wasnt on feel the fire‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️ such a good ass song
1 of my favorites
Agreed! I never understand why some bands don’t put a kick ass song from a demo to a LP. Polish this up a bit and this would really kill
Because it wasn't your-typical Overkill.

Riding the wind on a stormy night
Rides a mother's son to take your life
They say he died ten years ago
But the list of victims seems to grow
"Like father, like son," the Bible read
Three sixes brand the top of his head

Overkill seals your fate
needs to come out on cd

Great demo,
Awesome
typically the kind of demo i would bring with me , after the end of the world !!!
I wish they would release it on vinyl.
I can imagine if the songs "The Beast Within" and "Death Rider" are on Overkill's new album
Supergeil!
Fuck Yeah, thanks a bunch for this wonderful Thrash Attack
Bobby was 24 here I think but he sounds younger. His talent is well evident though.
was Blitz singing in a hangar?
Very interesting vocal resonances, if that is what you mean. 😀🙂
New Jersey's best!!!
yes they are
The intro is very similar to ángeles del infierno maldito sea tu nombre
Was this ever reissued or included on a compilation?
I don’t think so
yes, in fact it was remastered on the album "Rotten To The Core"
I Have This On Bootleg Version On CD Overkill First Kills The Early Works Including Power In Black And Under The Influence Demo.
The vocals and bass at times are over riding the guitar on the first song.
