Franklin in the story mentions that the Grove Street og's have probably become millionaires and moved on. Which kind of references CJ. The way I see it. The 3D and HD universes are the same but not the same. The same since there is a shared link of characters, media, and refernces between them. But not the same since they take place in a different interpretation of the 3D universe. Then again we don't see the world as the protagonist in these games so. To us GTA 5 San Andreas is a island. But to the characters it's not. It's just Southern San Andreas and they never go to the other parts of the state. Lester mentions in The Paleto Score that the body of water north of Paleto Bay is actually a river, not the Pacific Ocean. So to us it's just endless ocean out there. From the eyes of the people in game there is land beyond that. We just can't see or access.

Seeing as how they done this, I think we could definitely have some co-op mode for the campaign in GTA 6. The things they’ve done with GTA 5 and Online is incredible and I can’t wait to see what GTA 6 looks like and how it plays
So what I love about this dlc: Lamar can tell when Franklin is using his ability. Makes me wonder if it's a similar case with Trevor and Michael. Under the context that Lamar only had one online friend visit him, that strain of weed could explain why there are so many Not Claudes.
If R* make more missions, playing again with memorable GTA characters like Franklin, Michael, Trevor and now Lamar in the Online, I'll definitely play the Online finally for the first time, no matter its toxicity nowadays. The only thing that I cared about GTA games its the story and character development. Never because of the countless customizable cars that you can get, nor the new weapons and clothings added, nor the apartments or luxury Vinewood houses, nor in the countless business and properties that you can buy either in the Online exclusively.
It's a real shame that Rockstar never gave us a 2 or even 4 multiplayer coop mode exclusively. Which you can play as Franklin, Michael, Trevor and now Lamar in a complete new story, after the events of the solo campaign. But with no countless clones of Claude and no other players messing around the map, only 4 players per service, with no more people annoying other players' experiences. If Rockstar would have make a coop mode with an actual story and character development, playing as the characters from the solo campaign, instead of avatars with no personality nor character development, I would definitely pay them for doing something like that, even if they add all the toxic and unrealistic shit from the Online, and even I would buy ONE Shark Card at least, for their greedy asses.
I would pay good money for that experience. A full blown online co-op Gta campaign up to 4 players would be an awesome experience with no annoying toxic players screwing you over and giving you a very bad day. There has been rumors going around that Gta 6 is gonna be a multiplayer experience, so maybe this new online mission is a preview on that kind of experience. Like a co-op campaign experience. Up too 4 main characters or 2 main characters with other 2 being side characters that can either appear as npcs if nobody plays with y'all or something like that. Either way that be totally awesome. I know it's only a rumor but imagine how cool that would really be. If that's not at all the case then it be cool if we got more missions like this on Gta online.

This update is probably the best update ever to come to gta online. It’s like story mode quality with all these cutscenes, references, characters, and seeing Franklin and Lamar now makes me happy.
