Today, I prepared a zero waste video.
We are always living with plastic.
There are also plastics that can be recycled.
However, there are so many plastics that cannot be recycled because they are marked 'OTHER'.
(Several types of materials are mixed and it is difficult to recycle because there are many colors.)
I've been to places that recycle these plastics to make various things.

"Other"라고 표기된 플라스틱과 비닐은 조금 다릅니다.
"Other 플라스틱" 같은 경우는 재활용이 거의 되지 않지만,
플라스틱으로 배출하도록 표기되어 있어서 우선은 분리수거함에 분리수거 하시면 됩니다.😊
"Other 비닐"은 색깔이나 재질에 상관없이 깨끗하게 세척해서
접지 말고 큰 비닐에 모아 분리수거 하시면 됩니다.
단, PVC(업소용 랩)는 재활용이 되지 않아서 일반쓰레기로 버리시면 됩니다.
"Other 플라스틱"을 일반쓰레기로 버려야 한다는 의견도 있지만,
분리배출 표시가 되어 있어서 분리수거 해야한다고 합니다.
하지만, 선별장에서는 선별이 잘 되지 않는다고 합니다.😭
또한, 작은 플라스틱이나 빨대는 선별장에서 기계에 껴서 고장이 날 수 있어서
일반쓰레기로 버리는 것이 좋다고 합니다.

Plastic and vinyl marked "Other" are slightly different.
"Other plastics" are rarely recycled, but
It is marked to be disposed of as plastic, so you can separate it in the recycling bin first.😊
Regardless of the color or material of "Other vinyl", wash it cleanly, do not fold it, and collect it in a large plastic bag for separate collection.
However, PVC (commercial wrap) is not recyclable and can be disposed of as general waste.
There are opinions that "Other plastic" should be disposed of as general waste, but
There is a separate waste label indicating that they must be collected separately.
However, it is said that sorting is not good at the sorting site.😭
In addition, small plastics or straws can get stuck in the machine at the sorting site and cause a breakdown.
It is recommended to dispose of them as general waste.

I discovered using baking soda as a cleanser a few years ago and it's been my only cleaner ever since, also for getting rid of smells in containers. So happy that it's inexpensive and it will last a while, fantastic product

I do the same with toilet paper rolls! My dog is large (>36kg), so I put one treat in each roll, fold them as closed as I can, and hide about 4-5 of them in different spots that are 'his,' such as in his toy basket, under his blanket and bed, and behind his food bowl. He loves the search, and once he finds the rolls, he has to sit and open them with his teeth and paws to get at the treats. This can keep him occupied for quite a while. Together with a good walk, these mental activities can tire him out for a good sleep come evening.
It is so nice to see such dedication to protecting the environment. I wish Australia could learn from this. 💚
I love innisfree's products over here in the US, and I'm so jealous you have access to a cool recycling center like that! Being less wasteful shouldn't be such a huge hurdle.
Something to remember about single use plastics is they shouldn't be stored in direct sunlight as sunlight breaks the plastic down and leeches chemicals into whatever is being stored. It's not a problem if the item being stored is not a food item, but if it's going to be used as a and edible garden container then use more caution. Try to shade the plastic by keeping it under a sill or covering it in paper or something else.
Recycling and reusing the plastics is one thing, while avoiding them is more encouraged. Take your own containers, bags, and gloves when you shop. We need shops that sell goods directly to consumers who bring their own carrying materials.

Your dishwashing setup inspires awe. I need to get something like that - a dish rack over the sink so I can have more counter space. And a place to clip my sponge to so it stops getting lost and gross in the bottom of the sink under the dirty dishes.

Why it's so fun watching you cleaning the pots and pans and not so fun when I'm the one who's doing it.🤣 I need to get the same apron, the same pots and pan and clean with this soothing music on.😅
I also use baking powder to wash my cloth. Reduce, Reuse Recycle. People always put RECYCLE in the first place but what we should do first is REDUCE. Next is REUSE and RECYCLE should come last. Let's be friendly to the earth and animals together! Thanks for your video.

I wish more companies and people would use biodegradable plastics made from things like corn. It's extremely versatile, you can recycle the material if you want, it's reusable, and it's more environmentally friendly. Better than having plastics that can't be recycled and end up in both the oceans and in our bodies!

It’s inspiring! Thanks for the video. The only problem for where I live is the hydric crise: we have to ration water very often. that’s why, I think, there’s no much talk about reusable things. To let water available for industry, for example.

저도 작은 플라스틱은 모으고있어요. 분리수거일에가봤자님 말씀대로 제대로처리가안된다고하더라구요. 그렇다고 일반쓰레기에 넣자니찝찝하고… 받아주는곳만있다면 잘 분리배출할텐데 말이죠. 그래서플라스탁방앗간에 보내서 치약짜개로 만들어볼 생각으로 모으고있죠. 두유팩이랑 우유팩은 자연드림매장에 수시로 갖다주고요… 받아주니 너무좋아요
되도록 일회용플라스틱 안쓰려노력하죠. 지구를위한 저나름의작은실천은 계속됩니다~~ 많이배웁니다~~

That's amazing you guys have a recycling shop. I've never seen something like that in the US; hopefully we'll get some. Also as far as I know, some of the items (even with marks) like the starbucks ones are recyclable here. Hopefully everywhere will have better recycling facilities and those recycling shops.

앗, 저도 생크림할때 아이스팩 이용하는데 ㅎㅎ
가끔 커피테이크아웃시켜 마신후 씻어 식물담아 놓고 마끈으로 연결해 걸어놓기도 하고
그리고 주방싱크대 위에 작은 쓰레기통으로도 사용하기도 해요^^
예전엔 울 아들 초딩시절엔 생수병2L으로 뉘어 자른후 예쁘게 꾸미고 미니 수족관? ㅎㅎ
구피도 키웠는데..정말 초 간단 ㅎㅎ
영상보니 이런저런 생각들이 나네요^^
그런데 종이박스는 ㅠㅠ어쩔때는 테이프 제거하고 버릴때도 있고
어쩔때는 귀찮아 그냥 버리기도 하고 재활용대해서 영상 보면서
나 자신 스스로 반성하게 되네요ㅠㅠ
오늘 영상으로 하나하나씩 실천해나가는 습관을 가지도록 노력해봐야겠어요.
목요일마다 분리수거하는 날인데 오늘부터 실천~^^
