Up until about 2:00 I thought Jenna had tipped a few brews, then I realized my video speed was on .8x. Cheers. -15f where I am right now wind speed is obnoxious.
I finally got 🌞 sunshine on my panels after it sleeted for two days, and clouds for a week. The batteries got down to 24.0 but they're at 24.6 now. I'm thinking about ordering the Hurricane Vector wind generator. But I have to figure out a controller first. All this time the wind blew like crazy but no 🌞 sunshine. It's supposed to warm up Monday, 17 C. I'll need wood by then. I would like the extra power, but I'm looking for a cheaper controller than the $722 one that people are recommending. It's great that your light works, lol. That was pretty lucky. A lot of the sleet is in the shade so it doesn't melt except on top, making a glaze of slick ice. The 🐈 cats want out but they get cooled off and want back in. You should grow some peppermint and use the leaves in the pot when they get strong enough. I had a plant that had a thousand seeds on it so they should come up in the spring there. It's not much trouble to grow mint. It's about -8 C outside. 23 inside. I made a little pan of noodles, drained them , added a little can of chicken, and a little milk, heated it up again. So was cooling that off, and the cats came in. So they got inside just as it was still warm. So they got about half of it. It was still sleeting yesterday, so fine you could hardly see it. It was really cold outside the barn, they would want out, but when I opened the door they would just sit there. So I had to go out so they would. They figured out it was sleeted everywhere, and have to stay in. They've been doing good mice catching. I add a spoon of powdered eggs for their winter coat. Thickens the milk a little. Makes their coats shine. I think it keeps them warmer.
You probably already heard this, but disconnecting and reconnecting of the lights may have caused a better connection. Next time (if you did not already), if a light quits working, just unplug and replug a couple of times. Great videos, working my way through them. Oh yeah, a little spray of WD40 on the connectors will prevent moisture problems.
cool video, loved the end when you said it looks like it could be a swell beach day! It's funny here where I am if the weather is just a little cool or cloudy the parks will be empty.. I love it.
first time watching 🙂 squirrels bite too, so don't get too close to it. One leapt at my friend and dug it's nails into her thigh as she walked past!...she hadn't done anything at all, it just attacked her. Stay safe!

Well, I thought it was entertaining. Nothing wrong with a smorgasbord. Maybe I'm the last person to learn that you can drive a vehicle with a clutch. Did Little Red have a clutch? The Matrix? Maybe I'm just a little brighter today than usual. Did you find some insulated material to wrap your propane tanks? Layla and I hope you stay warm over the next day or so. At least you have some good seasoned firewood to burn and, thanks to your kettle, the camper will smell good. Dream of warmer days and fishing at the lake. Cheers!
Oh yes, Blue Crasher has a clutch but Little Ol Red did not. Babysitting the fire as we speak, temps are dropping! Yesss, excited for lake days again! Just a few months away!
@@gypsyjenna Whoa! I don't know how but I missed the storm at the beach video the first time I watched it. Now that was pretty awesome! I love storms at the beach down here (in summer). You need to get you some rain pants, girl! I learned to drive in a 1965 Chevy 3/4 ton p/u. Had "three on the tree" and manual steering. My buddies called it the White Ghost. Lol!
Haha, cool I have no idea what three on the tree means? Yes I didnt think I was going to get soaked but that wind was carrying the waves into the air lol
@@gypsyjenna "Three on the tree" means the shifter is on the steering column just behind the steering wheel; first, second, third and reverse gears are arranged like the letter "H", upper left on the "H" is reverse, first is directly below reverse, upper right on the "H" is second, and directly below on the lower right of the "H" is third. And there you have "Three on the Tree". I bet you could impress some older guys with your new knowledge. Next trip to Canadian Tire should be fun! (Maybe not). Lol!
Reading instructions is for wimps! ...I love that truck, nothing better than a "beater truck". Hang in there, warmer weather is right around the corner!

Sounds like u got some happy cats and no mice problem which is good! Hopefully the sun shines for you and gives your batteries some more juice!
