I'm fine with it honestly since they mostly nailed the tone they created, I like it when the anime adaptations have their own unique way/tone in the story cuz it makes watching a story you already read more fun (IF they nail the created tone, which they did imo). For the skipped content, yeah I wish they didn't skip a lot but it is the era of covid so I'll give it a pass. I'm not sure how to feel about the 'main ship' thing, since I don't really ship Rimuru with anyone in terms of the exact definition of a "ship".

In the LN he is mature while in the anime he is not really that different from many other isekai protagonists.I have no problem with him fooling around but I would liked more if he showed more serious attitude sometimes.

I wish I can tell them Zegion is an old member, he and Apito were once gathering honey for Rimuru and deliver it to him until they started growing more powerful, Zegion actually outclassed the other patrons of Rimuru to the point he became No.2 strongest and can even stand against Dino, a primordial angel and a demon lord Zegion is my favourite side character btw
