Members of One Direction said today that life is “different” with the absence of former member Zayn Malik, but that things are still going “great.” “Obviously, it’s different but, you know, when you lose a member of your team obviously everyone gets a little bit close together,” Liam Payne, 21, said today on “Good Morning America.” "It’s still going great and that’s what this album is about,” Payne said. “We’re still going strong and we’re all still here.” Payne and his bandmates -- Harry Styles, Niall Horan, and Louis Tomlinson -- surprised fans on Friday with the unexpected release of their first single, “Drag Me Down,” from their forthcoming album.

Larry Revealed Exactly and the way he slowly turned to Louis when the question was asked and then quickly looked at the ground gave it away. Niall's reaction to all of this was how I knew it was all bs, though.

And how awkward Harry answered when the lady diverted it straight to him about how quiet he was.
Niall was like moving normally throughout the beginning of the interview then he freezes (like the other boys) and does like a little sassy smirk throughout the entire question then he's the only one laughing when the lady immediately diverts the attention to Harry and Harry answers saying he's having a good time. Idk it seemed very weird to me and I know Niall isn't good at hiding his awkward tension in interviews (the Mario Kart interview for example) so it was a bit obvious that it's fake.
Unrelated to the Niall thing but NO ONE IN THE BAND LOOKED EXCITED OR HAPPY FOR HIM. If they were all really excited about it like these media outlets are saying, you'd think they'd at least smile, laugh, or joke around about it. Instead it's intense and awkward and Louis was quiet for a while after.

You might study psychology, but that really doesn't mean much. Common pointers and intuition aren't that reliable, specially when you argue with fans that have followed every interview and appearance they have made since their earlier days. They know well how he behaves and reacts to different situations, even if their conclusions are wrong, they are more familiar with his personality and demeanour.
Harry just seems so out of it. He was all the time interacting with the blonde woman and he looked like he couldn't care less about that interview. When they congratulated Louis with the baby thing, Harry just seemed like he was about to laugh. In fact, he actually laughed a bit. This just proves even more that he knows that their interviews are always arranged by modest and he's just so tired of it that he doesn't even bother to care anymore. He only became serious when he had to talk about the action 1d thing that is obviously something important for him.

I like that Michael congratulated him on being a dad. If Louis hadn't accidentally knocked up a chick (hello, welcome to the natural consequences of a sexual relationship... it only takes one time) then no way would he sit in a seat, be congratulated on becoming a father and say, "Thank you." Though it's pretty obvious he's not exactly thrilled with the situation (who would be?
