Very true, I generally travel with my family of 4 so the VX is clutch as that is $80 every time we use a lounge which adds up

If you have Priority Pass Select (only available on chase, no longer on capitalone) you get $30 dining credit per person (up to 2 guest) so that means you can get $90 worth of value per restaurant visit.

In 2023 I downgraded my Bonvoy Brilliant to a 2nd Bonvoy (somehow allowed, as I also have an SPG-converted Bonvoy card). Otherwise keeping everything else (Platinum, Gold, Ritz Carlton, CSP, IHG [normal & premier]).

Cap1 forgives a monthly balance of $1 or less, as does Barclays. I buy $1 gift cards at Amazon every month with each of my 3 otherwise unused cards (1 QS, 2 Barclays).

I am not sure if they provide better service with paid membership now but it seems like Max Reward doesn't track my spending that well anymore. It has also been giving me errors when trying to sync accounts.

hi, have you heard about credit card funding for a bank account? it can either count as a purchase or a cash advance... tried searching in DOC and there are banks that allows this and counts as a purchase (as high as $5000)... is this ok for hitting min spend? if yes, can I pay CC purchases from the same bank account?

I use them in ways that give me value, I needed a hotel the night before a flight, thus it made sense for me. 35k only really gets you a mid range or even low range hotel.
