As Matt’s mum I have always been incredibly proud of how he has coped with his disability (the result of an accident when he was 3 years old). He continues to amaze me every day with his academic, career and sporting achievements, alongside being a genuinely nice guy! It’s really wonderful reading all the positive and encouraging comments from so many people who have watched the show. And to James, thank you, you are an inspiration - I need some caddying lessons! 🤣

I once saw a guy playing golf with one arm from the back tees and we were probably staring a bit as we were just 10-year-old kids. He just ripped one down the middle like Matt, looked at us and yells "Not bad for a guy with 1 arm!" It was awesome.

Dude, the whole foundation of what this series originally was, was that you found RANDOM golfers, that are given an opportunity to play a course they probably wouldn't have otherwise. That is what made this series so much more relatable when you first launched it - we are much more interested in the average golfer that is more relatable to ourselves and can tell their own stories.
I appreciate that this might be logistically more difficult to get scheduled together, etc, but it's what made this so special originally.
Having pros, social influencers and personal friends, etc really kills the spark of what made this series.
please - return this series to it's original premise and bring it back to what made it so good. 🙏

Golf Pride. I mainly watch this series to see a new and different group on a new and different course. However, you need to invite Matt to your next destination, American or otherwise. Dude has insane face control and is inspiring to watch. Would definitely like to see him in another breaking series.

Matt finished one handed as many times as Hideki Matsuyama. Seriously thought, that was incredible to watch Matt play. What an inspiration to everyone to perspire. Awesome attitude.

Matt is truly inspirational. My daughter was born missing her right arm below the elbow. She is about to turn eleven and doesn't let anything stop her. Shes very athletic and i have taken her golfing several times. I cant wait to show her this video so she can try to mimic Matt's swing.

I am absolutely loving this video. James was my caddie for three days in April and he is fantastic. Definitely one of the biggest highlights of the trip was hanging out with James.
Golf Pride! This was such a great entry in the Breaking series. We’re so lucky in this current era to be flooded with amazing golf content, and yet this series continues to rise above the rest.
Matt was in more bunkers than all the rest combined yet outplayed the group of non pros. He inspires me to do better. I had no idea what the others were doing but found myself following Matt’s every shot. That shot off the car and building back into play was the man above us showing us he approves of Matt’s positive attitude.
Lucas was fun to watch but I personally don’t care deviating from the format of random amateurs in the series.
Great group of players. Must be humbling to play along with a tour pro, seeing what golf can be. Loved Matt and his positivity. Was rooting for Keffer and proud to see him play well. Ashley was class all the way round and kept the group grounded. And Lucas is a beast, shooting under par never looked so easy. All around great experience. Ireland? Half Set Full Send!
Love watching these series. So interesting watching "normal" folks playing championship venues. Puts it in perspective how good the pros really are. Keep up the awesome work.
None of the people in this video are "normal". Your average golfer doesn't keep a hcp and if they did, it would be north of 25. Not one person in this video is anything but good to great. An actual pro does not belong in a breaking series and its incredibly disappointing that he brought one in.
What an enjoyable and inspiring show. It is proof of how golfers of all abilities can play together and have fun.

Fantastic video, I loved all the different players and their various scoring goals, but what shone through was their shared love of playing the old course and all the history and challenges that they experienced. I was transported back to when I played there and felt the same feelings all the way around and especially the closing stretch of amazing holes 😊 thank you.

Absolutely love the breaking series by RGC. The combination of the different abilities gives a really good idea of how an average golfer would play it. I’m an 8 handicap and would hope I can get around here with a score in the low eighties but having to do it on camera with all that added pressure would make it even harder so congrats to all these players including my countryman Lucas Herbert who is a really great guy. I felt terrible for him when that guy took his ball by accident. Congrats to the RGC editing and production team, this was an epic watch.
I wont dissect anything. Pure golf in its best form. This movie made my bad day, a good day. Thank you.
