    That was a Rogers issue, country wide. Sorry you happened to be in Winnipeg when that happened.

    Rogers system went down across Canada. Rogers says for 3 days, some areas of Southern Ontario were down for almost a WEEK! Loads of people switching to other providers, INCLUDING ones below the 49th! !!!!!!!!

    And here I thought truck driving involved: 1) show up at Point A. Load-up. 2) drive to Point B. Un-load. Pull-off and nap in-between Point A & Point B if necessary. Collect payment after Point B.
    I had no idea all that is involved. 😮 Thanks for taking the time to educate people like me.👍

    Thanks for the video. And good luck Sergei
    I drove across. Manitoba And way into Saskatchewan at night. Truckers were hitting deer and running over them. I just follower close behind a truck. The ditches were full deer eyes flashing back at the headlights

    The bypass around Winnipeg (HWY 101) the northern side, although longer is safer, more modern design. The southern route is older and when crowded, slippery or when there is low visibility it is dangerous. There are plans to update.

    The north perimeter hiway is 60km longer but 30 minutes faster due to all of the construction that is going on through the south perimeter.

    Hello sergei For your firearms ,inquire about being able to carry firearms in your vehicle

    • @HHTV60
      @HHTV60  2 года назад

      Way ahead of you. I downloaded a free copy of the CFSC handbook (Canadian Firearms Safety Course). Rules for RESTRICTED FIREARMS are different, but I'm only interested in NON-RESTRICTED FIREARMS (rifles and shotguns). Here's what the book says,
      7.5. Safe handling of firearms in vehicles
      a. Thewordvehiclemayincludeboats,cars,recreationalvehicles,snowmobiles, sleds, private aircraft, and/or all-terrain vehicles, depending on your particular jurisdiction.
      b. Whenhandlingfirearmsaroundanytypeofvehicle,followthestepsbelow:
      1. Never have a loaded firearm in or on any vehicle unless you are allowed
      to shoot from that vehicle. Unload before entry. Load only after leaving.
      2. It is especially difficult to control muzzle direction when entering or leaving vehicles. Take extra care to point the muzzle in the safest available direction at such times.
      3. When a firearm is in a vehicle, it must be placed in a secure position where it will not be dislodged or stepped upon.
