@@seenthroughglass I can certainly see you in that. It just oozes style and quality. Up there with some of the best designs from any marque in recent years!
Still doesn't look amazing to me but I am no longer as disappointed as I was before. Now for me, it just looks kinda like a nice Ferrari, which is no bad thing, at least.
@NGJr. Ha.. catch up.. Who's the more successful brand? Aston were heading to more performance focused machinery, not sure if that's still a go, but that's only cause they had Newey partnership, otherwise they wouldn't dare step into that domain.
OMG Roma is so beautiful irl!!! One of the best looking Ferrari of the last years imo. And the new interior design, oh, so good after the same style in 458, 488, F8 over and over again! I'm in love!
the new facelift to the Portofino that is coming out next will have similar headlights too. It's a new design language that Ferrari is adopting for different models.
@@seenthroughglass I've yet to see one in person, but sad to see the iconic rev counter go digital. Would've been great to preserve it as analogue surrounded by screens, like the 992. Particularly as the Roma is surely a preview of all new-model Ferrari interiors for the next 5 yrs...
Best looking Ferrari since the Monza. Yes, it looks a lot like an Aston Martin but that's a great thing. Kind'a like a 550 Maranello updated by Aston Martin. A British soul with an Italian body. You can't a more refined combination than that.
@@seenthroughglass I loved it gotta say I really didn't know about the Roma until now but after watching your video in my opinion probably one of the best new Ferraris which is a bit controversial but just everything they did to it inside and out they really killed it.... well everything but the spec of this one
The Ferrari Roma may be the best looking car today. I can't think of a better looking new car today. The F8 is also a winner. When it comes to looks, Ferrari lineup is clearly on top. By comparison McLaren cars maybe great to drive, but in the looks Department have a lot to be desired.
When I look at the Roma, I see lines from the F-type, both very beautiful cars. Also Sam, loving to see the content again, great work and thanks for keeping us entertained!
Love the F8. Looks like a meaner 488 (closer to a Pista) and the rear is the stunning IMO. Really want to buy one but is it worth the big premium over the 488 currently. I guess if the character of the drive is improved, then maybe it is!
A truly beautiful Ferrari, understated, and doesn't try to scream "look at me" by being outlandish with wings, scoops and spoilers. Harks back to the 365GTB4 , long bonnet, sleek, and elegant. A GT car with class, rather than trying hard to be number one like the 812. It should go up against the DB11, Mclaren GT, and the AMG GT. And in terms of looks, beats them all.
You can get the front grille in a contrasting color, I think it improves it immensely when its done in black. It being body color does look rather off compared to the rest of the car.
@Seen Through Glass: Unfortunately the wide angle of the camera lense contradicts your statements about the dimensions of the Roma-hood and the car in general.
The Roma looks awesome. I just bought my first Ferrari (a 360) partly because of following your videos. Hopefully I can upgrade again to a Roma in a few years :)
It’s a great mix between a Vantage, AMG GT and maybe F-Type! Looks really cool, especially the interior. Wasn’t fond of it when it came out, but looks really good in the sunshine.
This is the best viewing of the Roma I've seen so far and the one that has finally done it justice; pictures weren't doing it for me. Ferrari is at its best producing front-engine GT cars. That F8 spec is: mwah...well done to whoever ticked the boxes.
Pale silver paint is just gorgeous. It’s gorgeous on pretty much every kind of car there is too. The most beautiful paint I’ve ever seen is the silver paint GM used on the early ‘60s corvettes.
Roma is the most elegant front engine Ferrari to come around in a LONG time. No overdone aero forced down our throats, no 'wish I was on the racetrack' detailing. The new grill a completely original take on a traditional idea. The new tail lights a new twist on the traditional dual round ones. And the new interior a complete direction of the from recent Ferraris, at once futuristic yet reminds me of old wrap around dashes and pods from the 80's (Porsche 928, Nissan 300zx). Truly inspired designing. Will never look dated.
Great video Sam, really enjoyed this. You’re one of the most professional auto RUclipsrs going these days - great access to cars, really well produced videos, answer all the things I’m wondering and keep a good pace. I felt like I was watching Top Gear!
You are right! Dick Lovett are the best Ferrari dealer in the UK. I called them and told them I could afford to buy one, but it was my 58th birthday, so they very kindly showed me around. Thank you DL, you are top.
Nice content. Loved the look around the showroom and that blue Pista was sick. I actually love the F8, got to drive one in Miami. I know the Roma is a pre-production model but does that mean it isn't road legal? Wondering why they didn't let you drive it? p.s. It does look like a Jaguar!!!
I almost feel like the electronics are awesome but the center divider needs to go away in the Roma. And forget the two plus two format, get rid of the additional seats and put a nice storage shelf there maybe with some locking cabinets
The Roma is Absolutely Gorgeous. The fact that it shares some similarities with some Aston Martins and the F-type is not a bad thing. Those cars are beautiful. Ferrari has perfected that look.
the Roma ...... absolutely love it .... i only wish they offered a 6 speed manual an it would be the hottest car Ferrari has put out in the last 5 years .... thanks for sharing Sam ... Cheers
Bit of Corvette Stingray influence in that nose. I like it. The Ferrari snobs always hate on the entry level models. Same with the Porsche Boxster and Cayman. Love the spec, silver with yellow! Great vid Sam, missing Behind the Glass but understand how busy Tony and yourself are. Ive loved every episode.
If Ferrari and Aston Martin had a baby this would be it. Never a bad thing in my eyes.
Kind of agree... and the Jaguar F Type!
Exactly!! This is too Aston martinish! haha. But it looks good!
vantage and db 10 mix , like cris said aston should consult their lawyers

Which is why it might be the perfect car for me
It’s got hints of F-type as well

Yeah , showdy build quality squared
looks like Ferrari 365 GTC/4 plus 612 scaglietti but lack of the sweet v12 engine
Breathtaking Roma! Most beautiful car I've ever seen!
Can't believe they actually start producing it. It looks like a concept car. Amazing!
Most excited I've been about the design of a Ferrari for a while
Looks like Ferrari picked up the Mazerati Alfieri concept as a starting point.
Martin Šnajdr I would suggest these are not cars - but beautiful inspired works of art. I agree. The Roma is stunning.
Andrew Campbell looks like Ferrari finally decided to take a page out of Aston Martins book
@@seenthroughglass get rip of turbo and i may care... right now only like the new car... the car is junk....

I really think it needs bigger rear wheels seems a bit off to me, the rear arches are so tall
The Dubai spec is better
That pista has literally the most beautiful spec I have ever seen
Looks like the Aston Martin DB10 that they made for Spectre.
@NGJr. f90 stradale is nice though.
@NGJr. As long as they don't try to replicate Astons financial situation it's all good haha

That Roma is classy....you MUST buy one 😂
I really hope I can
Can’t say as I’m won over by the external visuals but that interior blew me away. Just phenomenal and such a step up from the previous standard
The headlights are an iteration of the ones in the Monza ...really like them
So cool
