- Car dealerships have officially re-opened in the UK, so naturally, I headed straight to a Ferrari dealership to look at some cars!
Dick Lovett in Swindon currently have a stunning Ferrari F8 Tributo demonstrator, arguably the best spec on Ferrari's latest V8 supercar. They also had a pre-production version of the all new Roma, a car I have been desperate to see in the flesh ever since it launched. In my mind, the Roma is the best looking/most exciting Ferrari launched in years and so I was really excited to get up close with the car at Dick Lovett.

Martin Šnajdr I would suggest these are not cars - but beautiful inspired works of art. I agree. The Roma is stunning.

OMG Roma is so beautiful irl!!! One of the best looking Ferrari of the last years imo. And the new interior design, oh, so good after the same style in 458, 488, F8 over and over again! I'm in love!

Still doesn't look amazing to me but I am no longer as disappointed as I was before. Now for me, it just looks kinda like a nice Ferrari, which is no bad thing, at least.
I really think it needs bigger rear wheels seems a bit off to me, the rear arches are so tall

Can’t say as I’m won over by the external visuals but that interior blew me away. Just phenomenal and such a step up from the previous standard

@NGJr. Ha.. catch up.. Who's the more successful brand? Aston were heading to more performance focused machinery, not sure if that's still a go, but that's only cause they had Newey partnership, otherwise they wouldn't dare step into that domain.

So cool
the new facelift to the Portofino that is coming out next will have similar headlights too. It's a new design language that Ferrari is adopting for different models.

Ha its going to happen at some point. For me, Roma just about beats the F8 but its a hard choice with the demo's spec

@@seenthroughglass I've yet to see one in person, but sad to see the iconic rev counter go digital. Would've been great to preserve it as analogue surrounded by screens, like the 992. Particularly as the Roma is surely a preview of all new-model Ferrari interiors for the next 5 yrs...

This is the best viewing of the Roma I've seen so far and the one that has finally done it justice; pictures weren't doing it for me. Ferrari is at its best producing front-engine GT cars. That F8 spec is: mwah...well done to whoever ticked the boxes.
After the 458 its the Roma that scores 10/10 in looks!!

It’s a great mix between a Vantage, AMG GT and maybe F-Type! Looks really cool, especially the interior. Wasn’t fond of it when it came out, but looks really good in the sunshine.

You can get the front grille in a contrasting color, I think it improves it immensely when its done in black.
It being body color does look rather off compared to the rest of the car.
They should put the iron mesh

The Roma is extremely sexy but the grill area is horrendous not gonna lie
You're right, they could have done better, seems like they tried too much to give a classic look on the front. What I realize is that dark colors looks better at least
It doesnt look like a ferrari il give you that, but I woudnt say its horrendous tho.
I don't mind the Grill so much I think it's retro -- but I know what you mean.. and as you suggest It was it might look better matted out or blacked out -- having said that I'm a convertible/spyder guy -- I would love to see the Roma as a Spyder -- that would be smoking.

The Ferrari Roma is a WIINNNN
The front end of the Roma looks weird. It might just be the grill or could be the double chin. The rest of it looks good.
The grill somehow takes a while to get used, mostly in light colors. Nothing that a car tuning company couldn't solve

You are right! Dick Lovett are the best Ferrari dealer in the UK. I called them and told them I could afford to buy one, but it was my 58th birthday, so they very kindly showed me around. Thank you DL, you are top.

A truly beautiful Ferrari, understated, and doesn't try to scream "look at me" by being outlandish with wings, scoops and spoilers. Harks back to the 365GTB4 , long bonnet, sleek, and elegant. A GT car with class, rather than trying hard to be number one like the 812. It should go up against the DB11, Mclaren GT, and the AMG GT. And in terms of looks, beats them all.

Nice content. Loved the look around the showroom and that blue Pista was sick. I actually love the F8, got to drive one in Miami. I know the Roma is a pre-production model but does that mean it isn't road legal? Wondering why they didn't let you drive it? p.s. It does look like a Jaguar!!!
The Yellow line that wraps around the cockpit to the aft of the interior is tasteful; well done..Keel afts smart.. also aware of the SLR GT taper aesthetically it would change with colours chosen in a spec. side to side to the mod DBS how it plays in traffic sight lines off the bonnet the lighting of the tech learning the positioning so the hand drops without eyes off road.. One would not be going to park with one set off wheels off the lane in small village roads in one.have to feel the nose in a scary turn to really marry her. That pewterish silver plat spec w nero/ giallo works for a livery. You standing next by adds a good perspective with that smart other Ferrari near.
I think the Roma should be you next car . It looks classic and exotic. Hope to see th me test drive soon . Good job on the video .

Pale silver paint is just gorgeous. It’s gorgeous on pretty much every kind of car there is too. The most beautiful paint I’ve ever seen is the silver paint GM used on the early ‘60s corvettes.

Sam u am.. The departure from a raw racing boy auto to a very classy sophistication is well done. Im not sure if its a matter of aging or perspective drawing us to this stylish comfort. But egads man some of the lookers in standard transmit ions leaves one needing a wheel chair awaiting after being sat in some makers autos transmitions are like when you see a tennis player.. a left leg out of per-portion to drive the kilometres you want. The refreshing auto silkiness... a happy ankle to knee to hip comfort is priceless.wist and elbow thank you Ferrari .

The Roma and F8 in those specs are truly good looking both inside and out.
Bit of Corvette Stingray influence in that nose. I like it. The Ferrari snobs always hate on the entry level models. Same with the Porsche Boxster and Cayman. Love the spec, silver with yellow!
