No need to worry about your age and experience bro. I for one, who believes age is just a number. I know many people who started their ventures at 50+ or 60+ are equally successful like their counterparts in their 20's, 30's or 40's. In some cases they did even better. At young age you lack wisdom, experience and vision but only enthusiasm and energy (Likes of Siraj are exceptions, though), but at later matured age, reverse is the case. Only we need to feel little enthusiastic about the things around us and energy automatically comes. So no need to feel depressed, once you overcome this (passe) period of demotivation, AI might be the best thing that have ever happened in your life. Probably you would be master at AI, for a change this time. By the way, I'm in my mid 40's worked as Java Techie for a long time, had the same demotivation problem. But recently, I overcome that jinx, and started learning/working on AI. Now I'm motivated and would really want to have crack at it. Best of Luck to both (All) of us. Hope this helps!! :-)
@@samhouston2000 Yup. Both of you are right. Don't leave things you could do today for tomorrow and age is just a number. I don't lose motivation but I am a master procrastinator. I'm so lazy. That's why I want to make powerful tools like AI/Robotics to help me. About June last year I tried meditation and I found that I actually became more productive and felt less lazy. I'm so lazy I find I can't even meditate some days lol, but I've noticed that meditation does have a residual effect that lasts for a couple of days so I don't really have to meditate everyday. Nice video. I've come to AI from automated traiding bots when I was 16 two years ago. I was interested in traiding at that time and somehow I was interested in brains and as Software development is one of my hobbies I thaught about a bot, which functions like a brain and is able to trade stock markets. Some days later when I build my own algorithms I found out that AI is a real thing and it totally caught me. The most valuble thing I got from automated trading bots are the skills concerning AI. In the meantime i got some bots running and actally made a little bit of money out of it but the skills are priceless
@@ameynnYes. First of all i made a matrix multiplication bot that took the market data as inputs multiplied with matrices and improved over multiple generations with evolution like algorithms. It was really slow in learning and heavily over fitted after some time. I had way to less training data and the algorithm learned like one or two trades over the whole time span. After some hard grinding and a lot of learning i finally found out about backpropagation and made my own predictor model in c#. It was structured like a nn but run in c# on my cpu. Worked well but the training was still slow (had to train it for about one week and created more than 20gb of backup data in case the model would over fit). With that bot I made some good trades on a demo account at a borker but it was impressively slow in trading. It made like one or two trades per month (and I had my pc running all the time). I made a real account with 20€ and made it go up to 24€ in 3 month but it wasn't worth after all because there was still a big risk of loosing some money as my training environment showed me and my energy costs for the pc are also way higher. I also did some image recognition and openai gym stuf before starting in reinforcement learning this year to have a good understanding of how to do it.
