There is a different in built quality . Swiss movements have metal main plate & jewels . This one is built on plastic & no jewels.

Exactly, cheap garbage from China, price less than $10 US.

And still performs better in terms of battery and can last decades. Jewels are needed when there is friction and there's a lot of it in Ronda and ETA movements, I honestly don't know why, maybe to drain a battery in one year instead of 3... Opposite to japanese movements with lightweight componets. Oh and did you know that some kinds of plastic are more durable than aluminium from some cans? 🙃

I can not see anything which is repaired. You just disassemble quartz movement and then reassemble it

The guy who want a service on this watch must be retarded, the "service" is more expensive than a new watch.

I think if time is money, you just wasted a lot of precious time taking apart a movement that is pretty much disposable- It would be cost effective to just buy another movement or a new watch and keep the broken one for parts. BER- beyond economical repair. With quartz watch, if it is not the battery, the problem may be in the chip, quartz fork, or lavet motor driver coil.

@@SolimBD thank you for providing a descriptive video on how to properly take apart a Miyota movement, now I have a reference if I ever have notion to do such a procedure in the future without ending up with extra parts 😃
