      Glad this video helped you out Vincent! It’s one of those things that will actually take you longer to find the gapping distance than to actually gap it lol. I was doing this on a car once and it took me longer to find the measurement than to get it done. Thanks as always for watching!

      @@GarageGear thanks for all of your videos! I just bought a brand new Honda mower and it seized up. I’ve never used it other than letting the mower run for 30 mins. It got dark so I decided to call it a night and I mowed the next day. When I pulled the cord, it wouldn’t pull. It locked up. I removed spark plug because people said it would spit out oil possibly. But nothing. I eventually got it started by pulling slowly on cord and it gave me a little slack but took an hour. Any ideas on how to fix if in future it happens again

    I’ve been working on cars and small engines since I could walk and turn a wrench and I’ve never seen anyone use the inner circle to open the gap on a plug. I’ve always used the circle to hang it from my key chain 😂. Who says you can’t teach an old dog new tricks? Thank you. Great video!!

    Bigger gap can make more power. If gap is too big spark blows out at wide open throttle. So you gap it -2 less till it makes power at wide open throttle without choking out. Then you will make max power.

      Not needed; they're like oil filters. No need to crank on them. You can always heat engine up a little bit when removing and they come out like icing. We're also talking about a mower here, definitely not needed but wouldn't hurt.

      Hey R, good question! I’m going to look into this. I personally never have. I never really had an issue with sparks plugs getting stuck before. My only concern with that would be temperature ranges of the anti seize. I would assume it would be ok but I’ll look into it. Thanks for being an awesome fan!

    Best way to clean grass out from lawnmower without losing gasoline and oil spill out

    • @GarageGear
      @GarageGear  2 года назад

      Hey Victor! Try cleaning it out after you mow when there is little gas in the tank. You can also try putting a plastic bag between the tank and the cap. As far the oil check the cap to make sure it’s tight it shouldn’t be leaking out if it is tight ! Thanks for watching!
