- If there is a revelation that can help you understand the walk with God and how to effectively make disciples and bear fruit, it is the revelation about spiritual levels that I want to share here.
In the natural, the seed (sperm) goes into the egg, growth happens, and it ends with a birth through water. The baby breathes in the air and cries out.
In the spiritual, we receive a seed (The word of God) that starts to grow in us and ends with a birth through water (baptism). We breathe in the air (spirit) and cry out in new tongues.
After the birth has taken place in the natural, the baby has no discernment and doesn’t know what is good and bad to put into their mouth. They cannot feed themselves; someone needs to feed them. They need milk, but as they grow, they move to solid food and eventually eat by themselves. As they continue to grow, they become a young boy, a young man, and eventually have their own children, repeating the process with the next generation.
So it is in the spiritual. But because we don't recognize these spiritual levels, we are like someone giving a steak to a baby and milk to a teenager. The baby cannot eat and will die, and the teenager does not get what he needs to grow and become strong.
Many are still sitting in church for many years and have not grown up. They should have been those teaching others by now, but instead they still need to be fed, and sadly, they never really grow up.
Yes, there is much to say about this, and I highly recommend you take the time to listen to this new teaching I just shared today. It will provoke and challenge you, but it will be eye-opening and help you understand many things. Also, about the church that should be like a family and not an orphanage with no parents, only leaders.

I had a conversation with two sisters from a church who are trying to overcome sin. They asked me: “What church do you attend?” I said, your pastor told me I need no church anymore and no pastor to teach me every Sunday. I need to go and work on God’s field. They did not believe and quoted Hebrews 10:25 “not giving up meeting together” and did not trust me. That night, I woke up at 03.00 and saw this video had been placed on RUclips three hours ago. I translated it into Azeri language. This was confirmation from God. These two sisters were also in big shock. “Could it be that Torben in Mexico knew about our conversation and therefore, placed this video?” Thank God for you, dear Torben.

I look forward to watching this later. I realized something this morning (thank you Holy Spirit). In Matt 13, Jesus tells the parable of the soils. When the disciples ask him about it, he quotes Isaiah (I think) and mentions a people who have shut their eyes and ears so their hearts do not understand. This is still about the soils. Their SPIRITUAL ears can't hear. Their SPIRITUAL eyes can't see.
Just afterwards, when he explains the parable, the seed on the path doesn't UNDERSTAND. So I'm pretty sure that the rocky path and thorns represent what makes us spiritually blind and deaf, namely a refusal to accept suffering (they fall away when persecution comes) and a desire for worldly things (they are drawn to wealth and the fleeting pleasures of the world).
Doesn't that also sound like the Laodicean church? "You're blind and deaf and poor"? Are we spiritually blind and deaf and poor today because of an unwillingness to suffer? And because we are focused on worldly gain?
"If anyone wants to follow me, they must pay the count the cost of discipleship. Anyone who does not CANNOT be my disciple" -Luke 14 end
Jesus called the Pharisees "blind guides". Was it because they were concerned with worldly recognition?

Hello Bro Torben, I love the teaching..but if i may point out, you kept mentioning 1 John 1:1..around min 7:40 and since Im familiar with the verse I knew you meant John 1:1 ..but for some new beleivers this can be very confusing, since there is a 1,2, 3 John in the back of the Bible as well. If you dont mind if I may suggest, you can possibly list the scripts on the screen as your mentioning them, it maybe easier for newer beleivers to follow with their Bibles. Im well aware one can just look up the phrase of verses on Google and then I can find the book, the chapter and ther verse but for new beleivers this may not be so easy. Its just a suggestion, thanks sooo much for all the teachings GBU Bro Torben.

Interesting. I used to go to church but stopped going. I now realise why I was conflicted. It’s because I grew up. What I wanted to do I could not do. I’m now stuck. And am looking for a a way forward.

When you sin ( because of leftover of our old man or our old nature or carnel) it means that you are not Pulled into it by force or enslaving by it , BUT You are NOT willing to stand aganist it !

A new creation has no part of the different, old creation. It’s completely new. Same with us. We are a new creation. The old is gone, the New has come. We are now partakers of the divine nature. Someone who has died cannot continue sinning because they are dead. That’s why we become a new creation, in newness of life! 🙌🏼 We are no longer slaves to sin, but to righteousness. We can still CHOOSE to sin, but we can also choose instead to walk by the Spirit. Amen! Our old carnal, sinful nature was because we were born of the seed of Adam, but when we’re born again of water and Spirit were given a new divine nature because we’re born of the divine spiritual seed of God, His Holy Spirit.

How to I get free from sin? How do I die to my wicked thoughts and desires? Is ths faith of Christ to do the Will of The FATHER? Why am I not dead to sin, overcome all sin and rule over the lusts of my flesh and its wiched desires and rule over my thoughts and my flesh? All after almost 30 years of first coming to Christ. Most will say, "maybey you were never Born Again to begin with?" I absolutley am. So, who's got all the answers and scriptures to read?

If you start by asking the Holy Spirit to reveal your sin to you. And when he does, you cooperate, admit/agree with what HE calls sin ( you don't get to pick and choose what you think or like)
you repent toward God,
ask for forgiveness,
turn away from the sin
stops doing it.
Layer by layer, it is a prosess to grow.
As your knowledge increase you grow, IF you are willing.
Where do you get this knowledge?
In his word, in the Bible.

In the beginning was the Word, the Logos. (the audible spoken promise, command, of God). What was in the beginning?
The Genesis account of God creating always begins with "And God said..." When God speaks, (Logos) we need to understand that John 1:1 is ALL about the Creator from Genesis 1.
