Faulkner's statement reminds me very much of former England captain Tony Greig and his "grovel statement" regarding the West Indies in 1976. After the dust and bouncers settled, Tony ended up grovelling after the thrashing England received. Talk really is cheap.

Most Australian fans will criticise their own before criticising someone else's.
