I live in Greenville, Texas. I appreciate information that you provide through these talks. I lived most of my life with questions that rendered my walk with Christ less than I desired. The truths provides through sources such as this have helped me immensely in my spiritual walk. Thanks
We're glad we have helped you in your walk, thank you and God bless you. ❤️
Thank you for addressing these question! I minored in anthropology and majored in biology at UCLA and even though I never believed in evolution of man because of my Christian upbringing, I never knew how to explain why Neanderthals and other hominids existed.. In fact, my daughter’s homework assignment was on evolution of man and I let her know that it is a false claim but didn’t know how to back up my argument..So I typed in “ Neanderthals and God” and found your channel. God bless you for using science, one of the tool unbelievers use to deny God, to clarify Gods plan and creation.
I love RTB! More of us should support the ministry financially.
Hi from Germany. I have been listening to RTB for many years now. Best content on the internet!
I agree with you, Eric.
Thank you for answering the questions with great balance and with the understanding that we cannot know fully God's intent but we can observe a His character in creation. God as an artist and architect with no limits to His creativity.
Hello from England. I felt very moved by your description of God creating for his joy and delight, that makes me think that he must delight in me too! Love your ministry and thank you
Your mention of God sitting back and admiring his handiwork during different stages of creation, reminds me of myself, when doing a home remodeling type of project. Along the way, at various stages of completion, I’ll often sit back and admire my progress, and especially when completed. I don’t have any other artistic ability, so that’s my one chance to admire my handiwork. I wondered why I do that, but I guess its part of being an Image Bearer.
Love your observation that God seems to be creative as an artist rather than like an engineer. I think that we get a hint of this in Ps 104. This is particularly implied with the reference to the myriad of sea life both big and small. As I look at life both on the macro and micro level. As an old Christian biologist I revel more and more each day with the beauty and complexity of His creation. I could go on and on concerning His creative action be much like the activity of an artist. Thank you for this reference!
Albert Perry's DNA is from a human 350,000 thousand years ago. Also, who said homo ergasta was not human? Who said their their thoughts, and culture , and life were animals? We do not know if they had the image of God? You did not mention Homo Ergasta. He thrived for over one million years. Civilations come and go. Maybe people also. You cannot say that they were not people. In Genesis God created man twice.
Good Job! Thanks, Paul from Prior Lake, MN

Hi!!! From South Africa!!! Love u guys!!! Share your stuff wherever i can..!!
Andrea from Weatherford, Tx. Thanks for reconciling science and Christianity!
Thanks for this. We are made in the image of God and without believing this amazing fundamental starting point, its difficult to digest the rest of the Good News. So thanks again for this!
Watching from South Carolina USA.
I think you absolutely nailed it when you explain that hominids were around prior to the creation of Adam. When you read the Genesis story carefully, it does not say Adam was the first human being on earth. It actually says Adam was the first man made in the image of God. Big difference there. When you read the creation story in that context, everything makes perfect sense. When Cain was banished from the Garden of Eden, he says: "Anyone who finds me will kill me!” Obviously Cain knew there were other man-like creatures on the earth at that time and they were a threat to his safety. If someone reads Genesis 4 : 14 under the assumption that only three humans existed on the earth when he was banished, the passage makes no logical sense. On another note, I love the explanation that God is more like an artist than an engineer. You could use that reasoning to show why God's creations are so full of beauty. Engineers tend to be more concerned with functionality than with beauty. God is concerned with both.

I agree with you that God creates out His good pleasure and that this is reflected in His creation, especially human beings. I love to create art, music, gardens, woodwork. I love science too which why I love you guys. Keep on creating. Kentucky proud.
Thanks. I'm watching from Sunnyvale CA. I belong to the San Jose Chapter of Reasons to Believe.

Xochitl Grant here, watching & writing from St. Paul, MN. "Common design vs. common descent" this is the nugget of the answer. To prepare, not humans, but other creatures, I believe, for modern humans. God as an artist is a great answer.

Thanks for addressing this issue! I've wondered the same thing and have never seen any information about it.
Hi and thanks you . I'm Janeta Nagy from Australia . Yes God is great and beautiful in His creations . Glory be to our Saviour !
Hi I'm watching on youtube from Boulder Creek California. :). Love your work!
Greetings from Maryland in the DC Metro area and participate in the DC chapter of RTB.
Very interesting take on the subject, most modern humans take delight in sitting in front of large rectangular machines with certain light and sound emitting properties with mindless content instead of exploring the past and present mysteries of this spectacular planet.

Met you at Highline Community College in Des Moines Washington and read your books .
Great answer. I'm from Southaven, MS.
Hi Rosanna from England in the UK. Just found your channel, had a lot of questions regarding how to interpret Genesis, evolution, dinosaurs, young earth creation vs old, big bang theory, science in general and how it all fits in with the Biblical model and Christianity so I'm glad i've just found your channel looks like you might be able to answer some questions for me so thanks.

Watching you on RUclips from Eastvale California. I have been associated with RTB through the friendship of Dr. Mark T. Clark of CSUSB. Your teaching on the Creation Event greatly deepened my ability to think theologically. I choose to also be associated with First Fruits of Zion (Psalm 48:2, 84:7; Hebrews 12:22-23; Revelation 14:1) and Dr. Michael L. Brown. Thank You for all of your great efforts to alleviate pernicious ignorance and childish religious sects who deny the depth, complexity, and beauty of God's creation. #TheDynamicsOfArmageddon #CGTE_DSW_AlexRothschild
Hi from Kent Washington!
Larry from West Palm Beach
Hi from Paris, TN.
Ok im a believer . what I find confusing is that Neanderthals have bred with Humans ? If they weren't fully human how could they?
I have the same issue and it seems more study is needed. If they interbred with us then they must be human, descended from Adam. Meaning there was something more to Adam's genome than what we have to include Neanderthal and likely even Denisovans. But if it is clear that their cognitive development was substantially and clearly "animalistic" and not human then they were not human. RTB says not human, naturalistic science says human (if interbred) and even young earth says human. Really puzzling for me currently.
@@davidtompkins5000 yes it is puzzling :(..I'm beginning to think maybe God may of used the evolution process. They are also saying maybe they didn't interbreed with human s but descended from a common ancestor. Well that's Evolution. Its hard cos I believe in Literal Genesis..
I wish you all the best in your search!! :)
Maybe a little late but hello from Northern Kentucky U.S.

I am watching for the first time. The title attracts me for I an doing research on aliens that interact with men. I want to know about the hominids now. It is relevant to me.
Would like to hear more about Neanderthal art and burials incorporated into the defense, not trying to down-play. The rest is excellent.
Hi! Watching from Warren, Arkansas.
Hi and thanks. I learn a lot from you reasons folks, very grateful for you. So can you go one step further and discuss why God created human beings? (Or if you have already done so, please direct me to that discussion.) Thanks so much!
Wendal Johnson watching in Curitiba, Brazil.
Hi, SawiLianMang Vaiphei from New Delhi, India
muy muy bien!! que interesante proposicion!! God bless
I believe Dr. Rana @12:08 meant to say God was preparing "all creation, including hominids," for the appearance of modern humans, which I believe is the standard RTB proposition.
Hello from Idaho
Hi from Tulsa, OK!
I like to know what can we make of the Aliens and UFO?
Hi
Great watching this from Bergen, Norway.
As neanderthals and humans overlapped, they also seems to have interbred as neanderthal-specific genes to a certain extent also are found in human genome. Can this be considered a creator intended functionality or an evolutionary impact/result?
I agree ,Daniel from san Antonio tx
Before humans, before the Fall of man, did animals and hominids lived in a perfect world? But there were volcanoes and huge asteroid impacts, massive and widespread death. All these occur before the Fall of Man??

Hi, Houston Texas
My question is the evidence of the pre flood people had much more advanced technologies than we even have today, as evidenced in the amazing stone works in Peru and other places around the world. How do they co relate to the cave man scenario?

Kansas City, Missouri - Hi!
The late great Dr. Walter Martin called my home the cult capital of the western hemisphere " Ojai Calif. ". Lot of fun grow in up here.
Few points would like to mention based on recent findings: 1. Modern human being not only co existed with hominids, they have regularly mated with each other. 2. The modern human being we see today is actually a product of those matings and survival of the fittest so in that scenario how will you explain Adam and Eve ? 4. You have mentioned that the hominids are more like gorilla or chimps but there is no proof to believe that they lack human cognitive abilities 5. Their brain structure is similar to human rather than gorillas or chimps 5. Now lets accept that indeed Adam and Eve created the whole human species today, but according to bible the earth is rather new as the human population, so how long it will take for two individual to populate the earth? Leave alone the spiritual evolution of human , how long it will take to only populate the whole earth ? (Keeping in mind God has destroyed the population multiple times according to bible) ? As your last point was reason to believe, indeed that is much easier to do rather than digging out proofs for evolution. However the difference is you can always question scientific facts based on observations or expectations. Like scientists used to think atom is indivisible but when proof came that no atom can be broken every scientist accepted it gladly. But you can’t question faith !! And I guess human became human today because they can question and look for answers, what are those dots on the sky and not merely believing those are tiny bulb god put for us .
