It is always hard for me not to laugh at the beginning of the slow videos because I really feel the awkwardness of the forced slowness. Agree that it is really helpful!

Its beneficial because you can really absorb the words and grammatical structure without having to constantly pause the video.
I love Cari so much. She is such a great teacher and her sense of humour is absolutely gorgeous. I have been an English as a Second language teacher for 25 years in Australia and so I can see what a brilliant teacher she is. Cari you grade your language so well, you speak clearly, you articulate all the phonemes well and even though you speak more slowly, you don't disrupt the word and sentence stress. I'm really grateful for your skill and the care you take with your teaching. I was a student at the Goethe Institute in Dresden, and the quality of the teachers was so bad, it was really stressful and I felt so stupid. Now I am using easy german and seedlang to learn German, I am learning so much more. Thank you Cari, you are brilliant. I am such a fan!

Yes I was a student at the Goethe Institute in NYC for a year and it was so tedious and joyless' the teacher constantly was intimidating to the students when it was their turn to speak..Gott sei Dank for Cari' Janusz and Easy German team..the total opposite from my experience 20 years ago in New York before the advent of You Tube and Easy German

@@katewalpole7934 Carina is so good at what she does..she is such an excellent communicator and can connect with anyone and explains things in a way that everyone can get. She has that extra something that makes you want to embrace the German language.
I am a German Language Coach and German Native and I agree with you. The videos from Cari & Janusz are teaching really well. I also create German Language Tutorials, however I love that they are in a Team and always out and about and that makes it interesting and shows land and people. Very cool. My last video was this: ruclips.net/video/UqG2KTY9iUY/видео.html and I get really inspired by Easy German to keep teaching German and improve and make it more accessible to everyone and maybe to include more culture i the background than only my own 'sofa'. Du musst auf die Großbuchstaben achten, zb : deutsche nicht D..... und manchmal nicht M....
du musst meine nicht mein schreiben ( die Sprache )
und natürlich zu verbessern nicht V....

Keep doin what you doing. Its the channel for beginners or those that want to improve their German language skills. Dont feel awkward for slowing down your pace. If others want it go faster , they can watch other regular German channels. Just because it is easy for them doesnt mean its easy for everybody. So glad this channel is being so thoughtful about us beginners.

I was there in 2005 on the day of German unity in the fall..there was a great restaurant in the Reichstag building that had a view of the back of the Brandenburg Tor which was resplendent at night.
