Great tips. Love all cotton jeans and a higher waist. What a great idea going to men's Dept! I have thin legs 🤭so don't need the extra cut in the front but the cut to even out the back....great idea! Thanks (also....love cut offs)
It looked like you cut at an angle for the forst cuts (to make them into shorts). Did you cut straight across or at an angle from the inseam to the outer seam?
You did a clear and thorough explanation, and visualization of the crotch. Thank you. Then you skipped right over how to mark the outside part of the leg, and went right to the cutting.
I noticed you did not cut straight but at a slant. Does that make a difference? I am ready to repurpose some of my jeans that are slightly too big from weight loss. love your channel.

The slant is just a fun alternative to cutting it straight. 🤗💞💞💞💞
If you want a 5 inch inseam should you measure 6 inches so you can keep the back a little longer like you did here ?

It looks diagonal, but I think I measured up from the bottom, the same distance all the way around.
