The Runners weekend is already my favorite series of videos to watch on RUclips and this one takes it a notch up. Awesome video, thank you for taking us along with you.
This video is Exceptional. No, Beyond Exceptional. Keep up the good work Michael. With what little access you have to the course, I think your race coverage is far far better than NBC produced for their Live. Your videos are always like Apple Vision Pro for me, literally puts me in the spot where your camera is focused. Great work!!! And, thank you!!!
Mike, thank you for sharing, you ran a marathon just to give us the best content you could , and you succeeded . It brought tears to my eyes with pride thank you so much.
I used to be a manager at track shack. Great people, great community, great atmosphere. Their historic wall in the store with pictures and memorabilia over the years is a running nerds dream
Kofuzi! I ran into you at TRE and got a selfie, but I was nervous and forgot to thank you and tell you how much I love your content. It's so thoughtful! Thank you.
Thank you so much for taking the time to do this and for having us along. You made us all feel so welcome and the content, videography and vibe was simply outstanding. Again thanks so much Ko.
I watched 47 seconds and i had to pause this video because it is so freaking awesome that i had to comment that it is so freaking awesome. Omg. Thanks Mike!
Another excellent production! Seeing the attrition that occurred makes me wonder if the weather was too big a factor in the race. Hats off to Orlando for putting on a great event.
It was a factor. I don’t think it was too big a factor. I kinda feel like it was just right for a race that would decide who would go to compete in an August race in Paris.
Thanks for showing some of the other runners outside of the front packs! Such an honor and huge accomplishment to even run in the trials race. I stayed home (regretfully now) and watched the Peacock coverage which was less than great. Best part was listening to Citius Mag in the back ground but watch on TV. Still didn't get the atmosphere in my living room that Orlando had! Thanks for giving us a glimpse....
whenever I watch a race in person, I generally find the lead pack to be one of the less interesting story lines. this race was an exception as I was familiar with the story lines of the top finishers, but the runners that I'm most interested in tend to be battling out in chase packs.
@@kofuzi Yes! I almost feel like I can relate to the mid packers, just not in the Olympic trials race! Always interesting to hear the stories of those that work full time, have a family or have so many other adversities still end up at this race! Can't wait to cheer for Team USA in Paris!!!
Loved it! I'm waving the MN state flag near the finish, thanks for filming, my first trials and watching in the first time and again on the video brought me to tears
Another awesome runners weekend video! Great job capturing the vibes of the weekend and the race itself. These videos inspire my old butt to keep moving, keep working out and keep up the training. Thank you!!
I let the ads play because I just want you to make your coin... Great video, I've only trying to keep up with trials since you interviewed Adam Wood and dare i say I CANT WAIT FOR THE NEXT TRIALS?!?!?!? great video Ko and can say that i agree at the end, proud to be part of this community from way way way back of the pack and so proud of these runners!!! Youre doing this sport justice!
Fantastic video! Thanks for filming all that you did before the race, very cool to see what’s going on in the running community! The race day clips were amazing! Thanks for all your dedication
Dude!!! You totally captured the weekend! It was great to finally meet you and Robbe from BITR, too bad I never caught up with Meaghan and Thomas. It was an epic weekend, and the third Marathon Trials I've been to...this was BY FAR the best! 🎉
Hey Hey Mike. Talked with you at the Hoka Cielo Shakeout run. I just posted a video on my channel on my first run in the shoe. Low and behold, who's running off my right shoulder for the last 2 miles? You and Meaghan Murph, I felt like I was being stalked and photobombed because I was filming me talk about the shoe and you were in most of the shots. I am sure having you in the video, even in a cameo role, will boost my views. Hope to see ya in Boston this year. I qualified as an Athlete With Disability at the Houston Marathon last month. Thanks for the great weekend recap video. Love watching your vids and using them as inspiration to further my content creation.
Wow this is amazing! (Love the shot at 10:45 specifically!) Great to meet you and thanks for hosting the workout it was so much fun! Hope to see you at a major at some point!
OMG Didn't realize how close Korir and Kibet were when he passed. Also Kofuzi I love this series! I'm really glad you covered this as a non elite (non olympian) runner.
Such a Motivated video and My best friend is hoping to run the Trials in 2027! We run our second Half together in Brooklyn on April 28th! Being the first person working in the MLS and Running the Trials!
This is a model which actually makes me look forward to putting them on and go for a run. Quite a lively, dynamic and reliable ride. After 60km I truly feel they have broken in nicely. The only thing that concerns me is that the lightstrike 2.0 is showing noticeable creasing. Maybe it is just poor running technique haha, but it has creased way faster than other foams like sauconys normal Pwrrun. Great shoe overall
Well you certainly clocked some mileage that weekend "I thought it was going to be chill and it's another run". Drew and the bus, that was just so funny, So many good moments and food. I'm from overseas and this trial system is new to me. Does everyone that line up think they will get in top 3 or is it go to do it for yourself and to be seen by others? It must be incredible to run with so many people that run seconds off your marathon time.
there are a variety of personal and professional reasons why people line up for the trials. and there are a variety of reasons why we think a trials race is not only good for team selection but also development of the sport
I was at mile 16. The ON cafe. So much fun having bagels and beer. TV inside and runners passing by 3 times. That Hyperion house and pool was awesome!! Did you run the 5K on Sunday?
What the trials show is that it is the athletes and their training that is actually important and not the shoe these days. Kudos however to Puma and their athletes, their showing was worth much more than the Hoka ShoeTuber promotion or the next launch of the next best thing we have come to expect every few months now.
you have created something so special and unique with runners weekend. we are fortunate to have you there for those of us who could not be there.
Thank you Michael
The Runners weekend is already my favorite series of videos to watch on RUclips and this one takes it a notch up. Awesome video, thank you for taking us along with you.
I did a couple of things differently for this one, so I’m glad that you enjoyed it!
I just love how you run along at their speed and shout encouragement. The footage from the other side of the road showing that was great!
I was tongue tied for much of the races. Too many runner’s names to call out at once!
@@kofuziThose packs make it hard! 😂
Yes! The perspective of you running was great to see. Great job
Thanks as always for bringing us along. I will definitely keep this mind next time to capture photos of the weekend
hope to see you at the next one!

thank you for the kind words!
Mike, thank you for sharing, you ran a marathon just to give us the best content you could , and you succeeded . It brought tears to my eyes with pride thank you so much.
Thank you for watching! I’m so happy to share this story
I always look forward to your Runner’s Weekend videos! Your videography and story telling are amazing! Keep up the great work!
Thanks for the feedback!
I used to be a manager at track shack. Great people, great community, great atmosphere. Their historic wall in the store with pictures and memorabilia over the years is a running nerds dream
Such a great recap as always, Mike. I live for your edits and storytelling in these videos. They always somehow bring tears to my eyes.
Thank you 🙏
so so amazing! Great to see you and great to see these amazing people compete!
great to see you in Orlando, Kurt!
Kofuzi! I ran into you at TRE and got a selfie, but I was nervous and forgot to thank you and tell you how much I love your content. It's so thoughtful! Thank you.
thanks for letting me know! I appreciate you
Thank you so much for taking the time to do this and for having us along. You made us all feel so welcome and the content, videography and vibe was simply outstanding.
Again thanks so much Ko.
I just point the camera at what is already there. It was a great weekend to be a runner
Love the positivity of the community, great to watch 😊
Vicariously tired for you and Drew... Y'all were everywhere! So fun to follow along
It’s always good to watch a race with Drew. Plus, he always knows where the next secret event is
Probably the most excited I've seen you in a Runner's Weekend vid!
I couldn’t contain myself
Another great Runner's Weekend! I love this. So true, all our heroes do deserve medals ❤
if there's ever a race where every finisher should get a medal, it's this one
Wow! What a great recap. Thank you. I’m amazed by all the names you know. Incredible. A true lover of the sport.👍
it's one of the reasons why this race is so incredible. most of the athletes that I follow most closely, all at one starting line
Thank you for the front row seat for the experience! I can’t make it in person, was wonderful to relive the experience through your story telling.
Kofuzi this video is so f*cking awesome. You captured all of my emotions. Thank you for your wonderful storytelling.
Thank you for watching!
Nice video as always! What a weekend in Orlando Olympic trials, NFL Pro Bowl, Megacon! Thanks for sharing.
What a great athmosphere. Amazing.
just such a great weekend. Orlando was a spectacular host city
Thank you kofuzi, this was really good. Just thank you.
I watched 47 seconds and i had to pause this video because it is so freaking awesome that i had to comment that it is so freaking awesome. Omg. Thanks Mike!

Thanks again buddy for your detailed race coverage. Felt like I was there.
The FINISH was wonderful dude with the music. Beautiful.
Thank you

!!!!Let's gooo to the finish lineeee!!!!. Like to Mr. Kofuzi. Have a great day.
Yooooo! Those New Balance Rebel V4 colorways at the :35 second mark are 🔥🔥🔥
Some pretty shoes coming

So jazzed to see Dakota Lindwurm make the team. She does Minnesota proud!

Outstanding video! As usual, high quality content and editing. You deserve success. 🤜🤛
Thank you
I've ran past Clayton Young and Connor Mantz a few times with the BYU team and they're something else man. Good for them they deserve the W.
Are you related to Habtamu?
Lovely story telling, great shots and so much of love for running. You are a champ, too, Mike! Thank you. 🫶

Great vid mike! The energy level is insane esp around 18:10
Awesome video! You ran so much this weekend lol great to see you, Mike!
There seems to be a positive correlation. The more I run, the more fun I have
how you run that fast capturing footage w/o crashing is a superpower
It was great meeting and chatting with you on Thursday nights event!
great to meet you too!
I saw you guys at the lake doing your selfie. I got pics of you guys 👍👍👍👍
Ah fun!

Was bummed we couldn’t connect! Next time!
OMG Didn't realize how close Korir and Kibet were when he passed. Also Kofuzi I love this series! I'm really glad you covered this as a non elite (non olympian) runner.
there were a few instances where people lost positions in that last 400m of the race
great vid mate loved the race coverage
Thank you
thx for the coverage!
Thanks for watching!
The absolute level of courage it takes to toe the line at the trials is insane to me
can you imagine the adrenaline!
Amazing video. Thank you.
Thanks for making feel like we were there.
thanks for watching!
Incredible video ❤
Nice video!
What is currently the best non-plated shoe for track workouts?
Masterpiece as always 🔥
thank you

Definitely an awe inspiring weekend!
Also have to add Lily watched it too and was yelling, “Go Fionaaaaaaa!” “Go Emily!” 😀
The next generation of American distance running fans!
Hope you spot a UFO/Bigfoot in the future. That video will be the most clear and stable video ever recorded. You’re a master of your craft. Thanks!!!
🤞
When I’m looking to buy a new pair of running shoes I always come this channel.

As always the runner’s weekend videos r my fav, thank you. Could you tell me again from where you import the background music, it’s good, too.
Epidemic sound. Link in description
The weekend was epic. I would encourage everyone to try and spectate a US Marathon Olympic Trials in the future. There’s nothing like it.
Well said!
Fantastic vid! Thanks so much for sharing. Can I ask which sunglasses you are wearing?
roka
The one OT report we all wanted to see.

yes I've heard that mentioned by uK athletes and it's much clearer than the system we have here in the uk. Thanks@@kofuzi
I was at mile 16. The ON cafe. So much fun having bagels and beer. TV inside and runners passing by 3 times. That Hyperion house and pool was awesome!! Did you run the 5K on Sunday?
I didn’t quite have time for the 5k, unfortunately. Would have loved to have checked out the On space as well
such great footage!
Thank you 🙏
Beautiful💕
Excellent as always!Between 1-10 I would rate this with 11🤪
Coincidentally, that's the workout on my schedule today :-)
hope it's a great workout!
Loved the way u put this together Kofuzi. Thanks for sharing!
