Thank you!! I love adding falling snow. For some paintings it adds just an extra element of atmosphere and mood to really bring it all together!

I paint the wildlife in my Northern State, only. Snowy immature owls are near the port of Lake Michigan, Wisconsin. I did mention, the IVORY BILLED and see YOU be able to capture them in a painting. NOT much talk about them in NEWS after the 80's. Too many people came, many people were not pleased, because it's in the areas WILD Ginseng is, and in hard areas to get to in the Bayou area. I had the pair nest on my land that I owned in the mid 70's and 80's when I seen the pair. And when the sun hit them, against the tree bark, much larger than the Pileated, and their ivory bill, it was ,WOW. Today we have better cameras, why not much is said or on NATIONAL news.

I would certainly love to paint an Ivory Billed Woodpecker, and I certainly hope the species isn't lost. That's incredible that you got to see them back then and that they had a nest on your land. I can only imagine what a great sight that would have been. It's been a while since I've done any reading about them but I'll have to look into them more to see what the reports are. I've never been to the parts of the US where the Ivory Billed lives, but hopefully one day I can visit there!

Your videos has been amazingly helpful and a inspiration for me when progressing in my art. You create beautiful artwork and I would like to see you paint a wild horse in one of your future videos. 😊

Thank you so much!! I'm so glad that my videos have been helpful and an inspiration to you! I don't have any plans at the moment to do horses, but I really like horses and maybe one day that's something I will try and paint!

a great creative way getting natural look snowfall. a question when you flick does it suppose be concreted on small region or evenly on large region? because when i do it, it concreted on small region (i mixed with water but i dont know where my mistake is)

I do get that sometimes when I'm doing this. But something you could try is doing this a bit further back from the painting. As well, if you find you need to stand a little too far back, you could try putting the painting on the floor and and letting the drops fall from a little higher up. This may help spread out the drop as you flick the paint on to your painting. But again, still paying attention to the randomness of the paint drops, and the amount of snowflakes you want in your painting.
