I love when people who know football talk football. Greg Cosell knows football. Great video as always!

Great episode JK. I wasn’t hip to Cosell like I should’ve been. One of the most knowledgeable interviews I’ve ever heard. The man had something for everybody with no notes.

Cosell loves to study the game AND gets paid for it! Genius! I love listening to this guy! Keim is in the money when he spoke on Greg. Keim is a very good team reporter! We are lucky to have him. I like Bullock too

Interesting...The things Cosell says to avoid with a rookie QB are exactly what the previous regime did to Sam Howell. I'll always hate what they did to him, but we needed a 4 win season to get "our guy". Hopefully we won't repeat the mistake and ruin him.

16:30. Keim says we threw the ball 70% of the time, and Cosell explains why asking a rookie QB to do just that is a huge mistake. Issue wasn't so much Howell as it was game-planning. EB was a good Xs and Os guy, but not a good OC; he isn't even in the NFL this year. It would seem someone else game-planned and executed for KC, while using some of EB's playbook. Execution is as important as good plays, and who is under Center. Howell: "You don't want your rookie QB has to go out and put 30 points on the board every week just to give you a chance to win." That whole RR staff from "GM" to position coaches did not help Howell, and is probably the reason why "multiple teams" were interested in trading for him and we got a 3rd round pick. Can a new staff undo the damage done? Between porous oline to lack of running game and TE play, a 50-50 WR2 to a defense that couldn't get off the field except when the other team scored, and a game plan for a good oline with a veteran QB, it is amazing Howell was upright by the end of the season. I fully expect Howell to be the starting QB in 2025 for Seahawks.

Andy Reid called the plays. He set the tone. That's the reason no one wanted to hire Eric. He was a passing game coordinator that in reality didn't coordinate the passing game. The current front office would never have brought EB in here. Ironically, when EB was lobbying Reid to call plays in KC, Reid said no.

Still pumping Howell up huh. Get over it, or rather, just root for him silently.

Great interview JK as usual, what a great football mind, also the front office @commanders is a totally different front office, my hat is off for Adam Peters for putting together something very very different from what we had here just one year ago, this is the biggest difference you can get from the Napoleon owner 😁

Great info, yep as Greg said, "Ya gotta dance with the girl that bring ya"....gotta play to your personnel and that's what EB didn't do! Looks like we now have much better coaches in place to groom a young QB and develop a good offense. Love the direction the team is going in.
