Leesir popping in at the end. Kudos to her and her editing skills. Have been working to finish the bottom of my boat currently, hope to get it in the water in a week or two. Now busting my butt putting on the gelcoat layers. I had to epoxy my keel a lot as well. does make you feel good seeing the smooth results. Now on to next episode to see what top coat you use. Also, saw the logo, excellent touch. Will be custom painting mine when I get a chance. The things you can do when doing the work yourself. Also, cool(literally) tip about the epoxy hardening duration, by using ice. Also, saw the boat shop in the background , huge plus when working on a boat to get it in the best shape.
Thank you for sharing all the maintenance you did on Delos before putting her back in the water. It really adds an element of reality to sailing offshore for years.
It scared the bjesus out of me when the bow thruster dropped! Lucky no one got hurt. Awesome to have you all back safely. And what amazing adventures you had away from Delos!
doing all that work yourselves, not only saves money, but gives you a better understanding of the boat and certainly increases the bond you have with your vessel........well done guys, very well done
Kiril and Lisa are my two favourite people that have been on Delos. So happy to see them both in this video and hope to see more of them in the future!!
Man Brian, I won't lie...I have a crazy man-crush on your mechanical skills and your willingness to tear into seemingly complex systems. I can only dream of being as self sufficient as you. Thank you.
You guys are amazing. By far the best group of people who also sail out there. Every Delos tribe member has sparkles in their eyes and a huge heart complements of the gift all you give them while they travel along with you. Brian and crew, thanks for taking me along. I can't wait to get back on the water.
I'm a huge fan of boat maintenance, upgrades and prepping for adventure. It's great to see the crew's enthusiasm coming back to Delos. This will be a great season! Kiril and Lisa involved with camera and editing, expert level content!!
Incredible job getting Delos back in shape, guys. You saved a ton of money. Can't believe you went to Svalbard sailing with 59 North. That's crazy! Can't wait to see the series 😁.
thanks for ALL the vid work on top of ALL the boat work. You are frugal with $$$$$ therefore we tribe ppl can be enthused to give more of our $$ to support the crazy great amazing Delos Project ! and 3 cheers each for Leesir and Kiril.
Fantastic team work a real pleasure to see how the tribe work together, learned something new. Delos is looking good. Congratulations to the both of you.
Great video , watching these videos is so easy on the eyes and brain. The video flows so smooth that I sit back , relax and for the running time I am transported to another place called Sailing SV Delos. Thank you for all the work it takes.
I REALLY liked this episode!!! When you include us in the work and difficulties of maintaining things, it makes the energy more real, and ya really feel the love that gets put into proper care of the boat/home! I've watched other channels where they just throw money at it, making the boat just feel like a tool and there's just no love or connection. Plus it's really interesting to see how these things are done and the kinds of things that can go wrong. Thanks for sharing all this!! Lynn
Strangely enough this has been one of my favorite videos I can appreciate the work that is needed on a vessel such as yours. Nice to see Miss Austria is back! Bravo Zulu!
8:36 I remember one of the older episodes with getting the boat ready for sailing, Brian was able to put the scrum board on the wall in the back, now there are so many pictures of your friends all over the world! AMAZING! So many great stories and shared experiences. Thank you! Loving your show!
Soooooo good to see you back on Delos. Soooo much enjoying it to see you bring Delos back into ship shape. I missed you as you are my main Friday night compulsory viewing sit down time with a glass of wine. Thank you for your incredible dedication to your online life.
You guys do such a good show, even doing boat chores. I forgot I was supposed to do laundry tonight, I think I got caught up in the sense of accomplishment watching this video and I was done for the evening!
My heart is exploding with love for the Delos crew.💓 The montage of your travels✈, the engagement💍👫, family meet-ups(great to finally see Blu's parents)👨👩👧👦 , members of Delos Tribe helping out👍, the list and thrill of accomplishment moving a task to the completed column📃, teamwork 💪, Leesir and Kiril 🤸♀️, and the anticipation for new adventures this season will bring with the joining in holy matrimony of our beloved Captian Breeyawn and Kazza.🤵 👰🥂
Fantastic as always. Talk about getting to know everything about Delos, from the keel up. Wow. I was surprised it was ONLY a saving of 25k, I'd have said even more than that! Great video like usual. Looking forward to next weeks new paint and all the rest of the cold water sailing stuff as well!
I think you need to bring Leesir back on the boat. She is always up for adventure. Not saying the rest of you aren't but there is just something about her. Very cool and down to earth. Oh, and I loved the video. Can't wait to see your northern adventures. And congratulations on the engagement. Keep on sailing.
Hey guys! Another phenomenal video!!! Congrats again Brian and Kazza🥂🍾💍. It was good to see Leesir 😊. Glad you all had a chance to spend time with family. Kudos to you all for being able to do the work on Delos 👍🏻👌🏻👏🏻. Like you said, at least you know it’s been done right. Have a wonderful evening guys!! 👍🏻♥️😘⛵️
After a hard, sweaty day of dirty work, you still can't shower and clean-up until you travel to your friends house on the other side of the island. You guys are real troopers. Great video.
I loved this video! I was crying watching all of you have such wonderful adventures, and getting back together again. Wishing Brian and Kazza many more years of love, adventure, and joyousness! I learn so much from this, and since you guys inspired me to plan to move onto my own yacht in about five years, that can only be a good thing!
oh my mates.. kiril and leesir just made my day.. so happy to see the two best delos family return to your videos... love you leesir.. island boy says that.
That slide hammer trick is awesome !!!! Also i have not watched you guy for a while .I preffer these types of videos as it shows the reality of owning a yacht
Yay! Delos is back for another season! And I have to say, the crew looks awesomely relaxed after their well deserved 4 month vacation. Looking good guys and gals. Fantastic episode, “I like it, I like it ALOT!”
Sure like these reconditioning videos. There's a lot to be said for taking the time to bring things back to as close as you can to their original condition. Time well spent. Brings back the old days of building engines and the tricks Brian was talking about are seriously a cool thing, cause the money you can spend on special tools designed for seals and bearings can really add up. The corroding and breaking of the clamps are an example of cheap and very thin plating on the hose clamps that you run into when having to use parts that are not from trusted manufacturers.
Love this episode, only found your channel a little while go about to go back and watch the early years. But having been a racing sailor for over 50 years now and remembering back over my boating years which started with a family sailboat rental on the east coast as our family had one of the only swagging tools out side of Annapolis MD. I started custom rigging small one design boats at the young age of 11 even did a little repair on a tall ship that docked in the harbor as a teenager. But over the many years of my life I have owned fiberglass shops. Can not count number of times turned into a smurf (little blue guy) sanding repairing and painting boat bottoms ( good job using protective gear) Love your channel and all your adventurers. Be safe keep the technical and repair videos coming sure a lot of people learn what it is to keep boat safe and healthy.
I actually missed seeing everyone. Glad to have you all back. Congrats to the newlyweds! I've always wanted to go to Iceland so thanks for the beautiful video of that. We decided to pull the trigger and make that trip happen next spring. I'm even renewing my SCUBA certification but I'm on the fence getting into the cold water. So 2019 is gonna be big. May it be a beautiful year for you guys as well. While you are in Grenada. Go see the Ranger memorial. My little brother fought there. He was an Airborne Ranger and parachuted into Point Salinas and fought the Cubans there in the early 1980's. Peace, be careful and have fun! CT
You were in San Carlos, Sonora, Mexico!!!!!! My family has had a presence there for about 40 years and we still have a house there. My sister even had her wedding there. Ahhhhhhhh, San Carlos.
When I first started watching you guys it was all in the past and it was cool, but I knew it was all long gone. To see a video just released is pretty cool. You guys are real people doing stuff right now. It's like watching the characters in a novel you've been reading turn out to be part of the world you're living in.
Excellent video guys. Glad to see you back on Delos. Repairs going well at a good price. Now I am up to date I can start from the beginning again. I think this will be the 5th time of going through all the Delos video's again. You Guys & Galls are so addictive. Looking forward to the new seasons video's. Fair winds & regards from the UK
You guys are amazing, a month on the hard and you can make and incredible wholesome inspiring video about it. Loooved it! Congratulations Kas and Bri so awesome and about time. I love your hard work and dedication to this project, the organisation and long hard work involved in making the videos, keeping the house afloat. Also great to see Lisa again, she is wonderful ! Blue sky's and winds at your back for the new season. Bless you all and thank you.
This is one of the most interesting episodes of all. Brian always shows us the variety of things that break on a boat during passages and when Delos is moored, but to see what you put up with out of necessity, acknowledge in the moment, and shove to the back of your mind until the time come when you can get it done is really interesting. The camaraderie that develops when people do work like that together and then sail together must be great. Kiril is one interesting guy. Not only does he work on editing for many videos from South Africa, he also joins the crew for some of the hardest work that will done all season. It doesn't look like he will be sailing with the crew to enjoy the spoils of his labour either. He is in an amazing place, though. I lived on Vietnam for five years up in the Hanoi area. It is a magical country.
Congratulations to Brian and Kazaa , I have followed you for many years, all the ups and downs, always cheerful and the crew, who have been many, loved this video travels across the world and then getting down to all the maintenance on Delos, fair winds my distance friends. John. Liverpool UK.
Congrats to you both! Great vid brilliantly done ✅ Hello lessir we need you back on Delos soon Great to see you back all revitalised, the hard unseen work I think is really appreciated by all of your followers a massive 👍 to you all

Oh oh!! Congratulations to you both!! It's about time you dropped the question Brian lol. Loved seeing lisa!! I wonder how Elizabeth is doing? Wow that's amazing how much money you saved, how you kept track of everything. You have to take care of Delos. Its your home. I am very impressed on how you guys are all very careful in how you spend money and try to save everywhere you can. 👍🌞🕶🍹🍹🍹🍹🍹
Your editing and episodes are totally professional and sensational wishing you every success Your hard work is extremely evident You deserve everything you earn What a fantastic team you all are Attitudes of greatness !!!
I have to say that this was one of my favorite videos. I guess I just love to see Delos looking good. Looking forward to hear what your plans are now. Good luck guys!!!
Booo, I’m just getting ready to leave for work Delos😩But I’m STILL GOING TO LIKE THIS VIDEO because it’s giving me something to look forward to watching after work later. You guys are absolutely KILLING IT lately!!!! Thank You.
Great video as always and welcome back. This video kinda makes up for the time you were away. Can't believe all the work you have done on Delos to prepare her for another 5 years ? lol. Thanks for sharing all your past travels, family time and of course the newly married couple. Stay healthy and looking forward to more regular videos now of your travels. You guys are beautiful !
the teamwork, application and dedication to the project is truly outstanding - if i was teaching children they would be shown this to see what true cooperation looks like, loved the wedding photos on instagram, very best to Brian and Karin and all Delossians
RUclips should pay you LARGE for making this content for them…This is BBC Earth quality.

Man Brian, I won't lie...I have a crazy man-crush on your mechanical skills and your willingness to tear into seemingly complex systems. I can only dream of being as self sufficient as you. Thank you.
Def like boat work episodes. Its funny that I actually miss this kind of work.

Task board for the win! Making work visible makes a huge difference in motivation and focus. Nice work!
That dent puller is a awesome idea! True "backyard mechanic" idea!
GREAT VIDEO. You and the crew did a excellent job. As you said "it is done right" !!! Look forward to seeing Delos finished.
Strangely enough this has been one of my favorite videos I can appreciate the work that is needed on a vessel such as yours.
Nice to see Miss Austria is back!
Bravo Zulu!
Really like the last two episodes of boy work. Interesting to see all the work.
Cool to see the boatyard repairs and the cost breakdown. With all your work, it's still a great return for your efforts. Good job.
8:36 I remember one of the older episodes with getting the boat ready for sailing, Brian was able to put the scrum board on the wall in the back, now there are so many pictures of your friends all over the world! AMAZING! So many great stories and shared experiences. Thank you! Loving your show!

Always great to do the ironing watching Delos... 5 more work shorts equals 5 days closer to upping sticks and sailing the world Delos style!!
your maintenance and repair segments are orchestrated superbly, and quite educational

It’s always impressive how organized you guys seem to be.
I started watching your channel less than 2 weeks ago and have watched at least 15 videos so far. Really enjoying it!
