Mercedes Assyst Plus (Service) reset and service code explanation (W213 and others)

In this video I show you how to reset the service light on your E Class Mercedes. You will also see that I show you where to find the service items which using the following codes:
[time/mileage (whichever comes first) for EU cars - NAS are different]
01 - Service A (12 months)
02 - Service B (24 months)
03 - Oil and Filter change (12 months/25,000km)
04 - Brake Fluid (24 months)
06 - Dust Filter (Exterior in engine compartment n/s rear by battery) (24 months/25,000km)
07 - Active Charcoal Filter (Interior "Pollen" Filter behind the glovebox) (24 months/50,000km)
08 - Engine Air Filter (36 months/75,000km)
10 - Panoramic Roof (36 months/50,000km)
11 - Diesel Fuel Filter (Under car on the left under rear seat area) (36 months/75,000km)
12 - Replace Spark Plugs
15 - Trailer Hitch (36 months/50,000km)
20 - Gearbox Oil and Filter (9 Speed Auto) (125,000km)

I do all that, I choose which oil I put in, it asks me 'Service carried out?', I choose 'Yes' and the message 'Cannot be undone/confirm' does not appear, but it exits from that menu and the service message is not canceled. W213 E200 2018.

Tks so much for this. Just had rhe car serviced, at 160k it's a 2008 c class and the light went off but it's bk a day later. It's saying full service cannot be completed. It's showing workshop code 606. Any idea what this is please?

Sorry I don’t know 100% but think it is a B service plus pollen filter. If the car was serviced then the garage should have reset the light. Maybe need to confirm the work and then reset. If it’s a 2008 c class then i think to get the service menu you press the reset button on the outside of the speedo 3 times in quick succession with the ignition (1 turn of the key) switched on. That’s what I did on my same generation SLK and ML class cars

What is a button combination for the procedure? (timing 1:45), I can't really see it from the video? Thank you!

So trip menu showing in the display. Press “back” button and hold. After about 2 or 3 secs then the menus are displayed on the screen. Keep holding and press the touch pad. Then you will get the service menu. If you watch my brake pad replacement mode video then it might be clearer? 👍

@@vidomotors9924 touchpads are the small “buttons” on the steering wheel that you press to say ok or activate a command. If you watch the brake replacement mode video in the Mercedes playlist then I do the combo to reach the menu slower which might help you 👍

Erm, don’t know. Is it a non European model? Works in my wife’s car aswell, both are 2019 models
