I dunno man, S1 and S2 Rick for me are in the "Ricky Dicky Doo Da Grimes" tier. Reasons being, in Season 1, he stepped up to put Merle in his place, and the way he handled the run in with the Vatos. In Season 2, he was the first one to bolt after Sofia when the walkers chased her into the woods. He also was the only one to put her down after they found her turned, even after Shane put on that whole scene and helped kill almost every other walker, but couldn't kill Sofia. Rick also showcased his lightning-fast reflexes in the bar with Dave and Tony, and showed that he was still trying to hold onto humanity when it came to executing Randall. Other than that, I agree with this tier list. It is understandable that he wasn't adapted to the new world in the early seasons, he was in a coma while everyone else had the chance to adapt. Also, the Governor didn't creep up on Rick, it was the other way around, but the Governor still got him in that fight.

Hence why Carl was so angry after the downfall of the prison Bec instead of looking for him after he knew where they were he had Carl planting crops. When he’s passed out Carl yells at him on the couch something along the lines of “HE KNEW WHERE WE WERE AND U DIDNT CARE”

The episode with the throat bite was actually my very first episode that i watched from the series, i was about 7 and my dad allowed me to watch 1 episode with him. Till this day it is hands down my favorite scene from the entire series.

Think Season 2 should have been split. PreSophia and post Sophia. Because he definitely starts changing there. The reason why season 4 was easier to get through for people vs Season 7 is simple they hadn’t gone through Murder Beard Rick yet, and he wasn’t defeated and a shell of his former self he just had it a bit easy so settled a bit.

Idk dude I think Rick felt responsible for the whole Sophia thing and didn’t wanna look like he failed her. He also brought up a good point to Shane when Shane was saying they should call off the search Rick asked if it was Carl would they keep looking (if I remember right). And he did say that he can’t repay that debt but that also doesn’t mean he is now on a leash to Shane and has to agree with everything he says. As well as that I would be thankful if my friend saved my family, however if I later found out that he clapped my wife’s booty cheeks and then wanted them to himself I would be pissed too 💀

Rick basically took shanes whole role and purpose post apocalypse, stole his family (was ricks family ofc but shane has an empty void now), but worst of all took the leader role away from shane, now Shane was an outcast, rewatching s1 it was all fine, rick and shane discussed discussions and had no issues, it was when sophia got lost rick turned a blind eye to shane, it's funny you use leash, because when I rewatched season 2 I noticed rick put shane on a leash, I can talk about lori but thats another complication, but ever since the sophia incident rick became really disrespectful to shanes voice in decisions, I won't list every example, but when Shane did say that in real world as both were cops after 72 hours they are declared dead if I'm not mistaken, the missing children yet alone apocalypse, but rick basically kept the search beyond a week and forever until shane opened the barn, I understand ricks guilt for leaving her, but he was so afraid to face his guilt he chose to take advantage of hershels farm and also waste time on their journey, I dont blame the group for being soft they look up to an alpha leader, notice when shane dies Rick adopts shanes attitude and the whole group shuts up, rick needed to do that at the beginning, rick kept telling shane "follow my decisions, im the leader, its my son and child" it was shanes child, shane was also leader before rick, and shane is basically carls stepdad (uncle Ig), Rick wasn't giving room for discussion he was just forcing Shane to listen (like a closed minded parent).. Didn't mean to rant homie I get its a fun video, and I didn't even cover all season 2 stuff, but listen to all Shane's final words before he died in that scene, it was all the truth 🤝 (Ricks my fav char)

Probably because he hasn’t been able to escape yet. Honestly though if it was S5 rick he would’ve full on done a one man army on all 200,000 CRM soldiers

@@AlexanderDBall Lol you right, and my fault I meant not a fan of sparing negan (keeping him alive), but yea the fighting was eh I agree and Ricks shooting is based off plot tbh, I won't list all my issues with s7 and 8 or negan, but yes Rick missing negan with the gun is because Negans plot armour shield, in season 7 episode 1, Negan told rick to stab him with the axe, rick attempts to sneak attack and somehow just stops instead of launching it at negans head, and negan turns around from the rv car seat 💀💀, also you're fun to discuss with

S1 rick >2, s1 was open minded, s2 was arrogant and kept power tripping Shane and trying to play the good guy, but in early s2 he said he can never pay back shane for Savin his family
Idk dude I think Rick felt responsible for the whole Sophia thing and didn’t wanna look like he failed her. He also brought up a good point to Shane when Shane was saying they should call off the search Rick asked if it was Carl would they keep looking (if I remember right). And he did say that he can’t repay that debt but that also doesn’t mean he is now on a leash to Shane and has to agree with everything he says. As well as that I would be thankful if my friend saved my family, however if I later found out that he clapped my wife’s booty cheeks and then wanted them to himself I would be pissed too 💀

Rick basically took shanes whole role and purpose post apocalypse, stole his family (was ricks family ofc but shane has an empty void now), but worst of all took the leader role away from shane, now Shane was an outcast, rewatching s1 it was all fine, rick and shane discussed discussions and had no issues, it was when sophia got lost rick turned a blind eye to shane, it's funny you use leash, because when I rewatched season 2 I noticed rick put shane on a leash, I can talk about lori but thats another complication, but ever since the sophia incident rick became really disrespectful to shanes voice in decisions, I won't list every example, but when Shane did say that in real world as both were cops after 72 hours they are declared dead if I'm not mistaken, the missing children yet alone apocalypse, but rick basically kept the search beyond a week and forever until shane opened the barn, I understand ricks guilt for leaving her, but he was so afraid to face his guilt he chose to take advantage of hershels farm and also waste time on their journey, I dont blame the group for being soft they look up to an alpha leader, notice when shane dies Rick adopts shanes attitude and the whole group shuts up, rick needed to do that at the beginning, rick kept telling shane "follow my decisions, im the leader, its my son and child" it was shanes child, shane was also leader before rick, and shane is basically carls stepdad (uncle Ig), Rick wasn't giving room for discussion he was just forcing Shane to listen (like a closed minded parent)..
Didn't mean to rant homie I get its a fun video, and I didn't even cover all season 2 stuff, but listen to all Shane's final words before he died in that scene, it was all the truth 🤝 (Ricks my fav char)

That’s not really either of their faults Bec Shane thought he was dead and Rick is obvs ganna want his family back after finding them. @@AlexanderDBall You're correct and I appreciate the manners, you're right about ricks guilt and I can't imagine that, everyone judges these characters as if they can be in their shoes, its not just drama its an apocalypse on top of that, laws don't exist which is why I dont judge evil characters too much, so rick taking advantage of hershels farm I didn't mind I only used that point because rick tried to portray the good guy, but you're right if I lost my friends child it would take a while to call off the search, and shane would be the biggest hypocrite if he didn't call off a search for Carl, do I think he would eventually? Yes because he did ask otis to shoot him first, otis said no so shane shot otis, same shane said he wanted to leave the group , even when lori said stay away from Carl shane instantly had cold shoulders, point being shane can make the tough call when he feels intense in the situation, he loves carl but literally was planning to leave him for good, shane loved otis, he said in a middle episode of s2 training Andrea that" moving on from the kill is the hardest part and that I hadn't got thst part just yet" literally broken voice looked like he was about to cry, Jon bernthal aka shanes actor was amazing, shane is more hurt inside but expresses in aggressive Passion, and Idk why im analyzing shane but a timeline where he lived or carl died early would be interesting, you're right rick becomes shane and the shane haters love that rick but it does always hit me, it took shanes death, his 20 year friendships death for him to understand shanes argument, really twisted if u think about it, they were basically arguing over Randall a kid who was in a group of people who R*ped woman in front of their dads, yes he told daryl that, daryl told the group and they didn't even care, and Yea no worries I can tell you love Shane, I mean if you're open minded u would atleast like shane, u don't gotta love but if u understand him usually people like him, lowkey looks like Shane's my favorite character when its rick 💀, shanes my 2nd, but his actor tho Golden, why we cooking in the comments tho its a natural spark 🎉
