Strangely heartwarming that at the end of the series Will's mates stick by him after his shitting mishap. In fact they seem to like him far better once he's humiliated himself totally; guess because it puts him more firmly on the same pariah level as them in spite of his higher intellect & class.

when i was at school i hated everyone and everyone hated me. i was so happy inside when the last day of school ended i didn't have to go anymore and its still the happiest day of my life. i'm now doing college on my own terms can turn up whenever i want and take in information if i feel it is necessary. no stress no strain and don't get teachers criticising my work as they have their reputations at stake in the exam results.
