I purchased a new American Vintage II 61 Strat in Olympic White that I really dig. Obviously not the same but nevertheless a damn fine guitar. I love the clean tones of your playing, killer!!
@@mauriciomuller255 I'm not the one playing here, but I agree with you that CS69 are lovely pickups. I've also been impressed with Bare Knuckle Mother's Milk as a vintage sounding pickup reminiscent of CS69. There are also manufacturers that play around with different magnets and perhaps make a more correct vintage sound. But I'm quite fond of Fender and Bare Knuckle for now.😊

Had a 61’ Strat for a few years before it got stolen. Was the best Strat I’ve played, save SRV’s Number One. Great year for strats .
I agree. Great year for strats. Maybe it’s the slab board? They have a thicker tone most others.
The instruments and amps are great, but the best part is the guitarist.

They are original pickups from 1961, before modern custom shop.😊
