The 30J finally runs, and very well at that. I forgot to mention in the video that the main recoil spring has been swapped to a Bren Mk1 outer recoil spring.
The challenge would be converting the entire system to work with a rimmed cartridge. For that, I would highly recommend starting with a ZB-39 instead - they were chambered in 8x56mmR for Bulgaria.
