Mastorakos please help me out with a idea mate! No one can figure it out and you where kind enough to help before with suggestions and ideas. So here is the problem. On my 2006 xl1000 varadro (no abs) i fitted new break pads(trw syntherite). After a few pulls and pushes on the breaks the upper piston calliper doesnt go back in the calliper. So we took the callipers in half, cleaned them properly(nothing much to clean), checked the o-rings etc. The pistons work really well, you can slide them in and out with your fingers, CBS working, everything working properly...untill i put new break pads in and the upper piston just get jammed. Ok , so we take the old break pads, put them back in and guess what? Everything running smoothly! Pistons go back in, they slide out, front wheel doesnt get blocked, nothing. So we vent the break system, put new break fluid in, put new break pads in and again after a few pulls and pushes on the break leaver and pedal the front wheel gets jamed and the calliper upper piston wont go back in the calliper...fudge...So we put the old pads in and you guessed it... everything works like a charm! Any ideas? I just want to set the fcking thing on fire. Break hoses are fine, cbs pump working, pistons working, vented the system, new break fluid, the break discks have 10k km on them, i checked the break pad codes with 7 different parts dealers..... Everyone here ran out of idears mate!
