Date picker : Popup Calendar for Excel

  • One of the biggest problems in maintaining "good" data is the entry of dates. People seem to get confused about entering dates. Should they enter dd/mm/yy or mm/dd/yy? Do they enter slashes or dashes or dots? And what was the date of the third Thursday in September last year anyway? What you really need is a calendar!
    Use an Excel Calendar control or Date Picker to fill in dates.

    Thanks for your simple explanation but really helpful. It worked for me.
    But I found that everytime I use the macro from the ribbon in another excel file, automatically MacroCalendar.xlsm pop-up as well. Is this something normal?

    • @ExceltoExcelE
      @ExceltoExcelE  8 лет назад

      well it is pretty common and there is a solution for this you can add following at the end of your code and it should stop showing the macro file for you.
      Windows("filename.xlsm").Visible = False
      So in file name above you can add your macro's file name
      I hope it helps
