Sisters, please understand that when the brother suggests that snow bunnies know how to pick potential, he doesn't mean picking young pookies, hoodlums, drug dealers, drug peddlers, or criminals. He means a brother who's staying out of trouble and working hard toward a goal in business or a career. We don't even want our sisters to date criminals, why would we want you to hold the losers down for any reason, and consequently bring the community down.
That's the point. Sisters only want to pretend/project potential onto the pookies that make her coochie tingly , and she can have authority over him. Thunking Black men cannot be controlled by the box and thus are not who sisters agree to be with despite being approached by TBM. You see how they ridicule pan-African brothers by calling us hoteps. I think this beautiful African Queen was overwhelmed by Dr. Umar's wisdom and intelligence. I really enjoyed this interview, or should I say, this teacher and pupil session.
I normally love it when women podcast with Dr. Umar because they give another dimension of emotional intelligence. But when she said "what's the guarantee," my soul damn near left my body. Girl, what?
I'm with the interviewer on this. You cannot, I repeat cannot waste time with the potential of a black male. BM DO NOT PROTECT BW let alone provide, and yeah I get it they are racially targetted and all of dat, but the bm cannot and does not even offer the bare minimum, let alone does he want to. And when that bm does become 'the finished product' or whatever he feels that is, which is usually financial/monetary mixed in with the low self esteem and self hatred, he wants a leftover bunny to feel like a white man... to feel as though he has 'arrived' and that he has finally made it. Most bm are breaking down/belittling/abandoning/verbally/physically abusing and UNALIVING BW in record numbers and you think there's something wrong that sister wants a guarantee!!!!???!!!?? Are you serious? Heck yes, we DESERVE a guarantee! At minimum. Its called standards.

Most people haven’t a clue what they really want, much like Dr. Umar you have to coax it out of them. Believe or not, most have a laundry list but the minute consistency respect and affection shows up to the party, suddenly they’re singing a different tune. Companionship is so not about the external and contrary to popular belief, most people can serve the same purpose in our lives. We have multiple soul mates when we’re open minded
We must continue empowering Africa we have no choice but to do so. What we’re doing to ourselves is absolutely insane. How can we expect to heal and thrive when we remain fully integrated with the very people who caused us so much pain and destruction? We should demand that they leave us alone so we can begin to truly heal and rebuild. Imagine this: a beast enters your home, destroys your family, shatters everything you hold dear, and then comes back to sit with you, watch football, and share a few drinks. Wouldn’t that be insane? Exactly! That kind of madness seems normal only in Africa. This is why we’re so hard on each other-because we never took the time to heal from the trauma. Instead, we carry the pain, passing it onto each other, generation after generation. We need to break this cycle, reclaim our power, and focus on building ourselves up. Healing begins with acknowledging the harm, setting boundaries, and creating space to thrive without interference. The same neocolonialists we are so eager to integrate with are still looting over $500 billion a year from Africa, while 600 million Africans still live without electricity or running water. When will we wake up? What will it take for our leaders to wake up?
It's so sad to see Gen Z Black Americans constantly debate with and put down Africans living in their countries and America. I can tell as a Black British person of Caribbean origin, we are far more conscious about our heritage and history. We love our countries and visit as often as possible. We take holidays there as tourists and trips to see family and friends to reconnect. Millions of Black Americans claim to love America, yet America does NOT and will NEVER love them back. They would ship all of them back to any African country in a heartbeat.
Africans are extremely tribal only thing African Americans can do is go back to Africa with they riches and help those tribes then maybe they will accept yall lol other than that them africans not fking around with no African Americans keep it 💯
@matthewprince9705 as an Af-Amer in America, I agree. We're so divided here it's annoying at this point. As far as this Umar is concerned, he speak with a lot of authority, conviction, and passion. There is no doubt in his expression. He teaches with confidence. His words may seem harsh, cynical, or extreme to those whose greatest wish is to lead their existence as visible minorities and assimilate in societies not of their own making but of peoples who are different from them and who never had a high regard for them or appreciated their contribution and indeed can be said to be the true villains and antagonists of their history, but they are true for all intelligent men and women who comprehend that a collective group of people cannot lead a dignified existence, exersize influence, and command authority and respect without freedom, unity, independence, literacy, self-sufficiency, and nationalism in one nation separate from all other nations. A fact all people of Europe and Asia understand and indeed innately recognize as being the gospel truth. Just observe the resurgence of nationalist movements and racialist sentiments in Europe and Amerika that wish to create pure societies free from ethnically alien peoples, equating their struggles with freedom movements (while in many cases justifying the destruction or control of other peoples in colonized societies). Having said this, Umar is a barya. He is no representative of any Habasa. He cannot speak on behalf of Habasa people and comment on their issues just like Habasa people cannot speak on behalf of black Amerikans and comment on their issues. Two separate peoples with divergent and conflicting interest and (beyond having common enemies from outside the Afrikan continent perhaps) because the barya can only be identified as a potential source of pollutation and contamination to the Habasa national body without a single redeemable quality. This was the age-old conviction of the venerable ancestors who were much truer to themselves than their children. The Umars of the world are not kinsmen or allies but the enemy of Habasa people.

The problem is most of yall choose the wrong man that’s why it ends up being bad decision. Yall need to choose better men seriously the wealthiest families don’t operate alone they support and build each other up from all angles financial or not. My Filipina girlfriend chose me and invested in me like I asked so I can make money from crypto. It finally paid off this year and I’m retired at 25. She’s next once the rest of the millions flow in next year. Now we’re both set for life so don’t think the vision is wrong it’s just most of yall suck at choosing correctly. it’s sad that it’s (rare) to find that in black women in America at least. 🤦♂️
@brianbranham327 Black men are always trying to find an excuse for being with a woman of another race. Good luck to you. I'm sure she is strategizing when she can leave you after securing some of that money so she can retire with her Filipino man.

Huh ? Black women just started raising their standards cause black men dont show loyalty.when you are done helping him,he will get on and leave you for a white girl .
Women spend their entire 20's trying to climb the career ladder, and then turn around to settle with a man. The good ones are already taken, so your choice is to either build with one or keep waiting. The thing is you don't have much time after 30 so if you wait he might not show in time, and if you build it'll take to long for her expectations. If only she had started in her early to mid 20's instead of early to mid 30's. The problem with the investment question Umar asked, is most men would invest in their women if they had the financial capacity to do so. But the reverse isn't true.
First, stop with the GENERALIZATION that ALL women SETTLE. I make the decision as to whether or not I want a man! Some of you men need to be "reschooled" about what "some"women want. Keep in mind that there's a difference between "wanting and needing" and this specifically applies to both men and women! I may "want" a man, now and then, but the only things I need are food, shelter, oxygen and water! A man can wait, there's an entire world to experience!
Black women definitely don’t be looking for a finished product. Just another excuse from black men. All my life I’ve only seen black women hold down black men and get a slap in a face for it in the end. You always hear black women complain for decades now about how black men once they become successful they drop the black woman that was there now you have a few that don’t wanna go through that and now it’s a problem. SMH.
You know, I've been a fan of Dr. Umar's for almost 10 years and I've never seen him have a conversation with a woman. After watching this, it's become clear why he hasn't found both his "Queens" yet. This man is a psychologist, and he clearly uses that to his advantage every chance he gets. From his body language (invading personal space, creating the feeling of dominance), verbal language( over talking, loud talking, playing mental gymnastics), he answered questions for this woman that HE ASKED HER. He has no regard for women or what they think or how they feel. He is what is important in spaces where women are. As a psychologist, he knows what to call himself.

But that's like pulling teeth for some.
@@freethoughts87 she likes dr Umar as a person. I don’t think she cared about his ego and all that because they’re the same sign. Us Leo’s understand each other pretty well.
@keke2296 What does that have to do with liking him and his zodiac sign, I like Umar as well, but he does speak over people all the time and in all his interviews. So if being a Leo means having a big ego and talking over people, I am not glad I am not one.
Thus we can state that the Black woman's primary criteria for which man she wants to be with is whomever she believes is controllable. She's looking for a man who will be the woman in the relationship.
This is why you MUST #sysbm.

I appreciate how the Interviewer was honest and sincere. It brings out the best in conversations, and this is a great example. These were hard to ask, and hard to answer questions, so thank yall for the content and the service to the black community. RISE UP ✊🏿.

In the case of visiting countries in Africa from America, the flights prices are crazy unless it's planned far in advance. In America's internet it's hard to find undiluted history unless you have like minded people connected.
@@matthewprince9705Black Americans aren't putting down Africans and blacks were here in America before white settlers showed up so called Black people were invaded and in the white washing history they'll show Spanish looking Indians or Native Americans but we the Black or the real Jew Americans, were here and are the Aborigines.
There must be a focused separation amongst black people. And it should be constant. It should be so constant it’ll force black people to choose a side. That is where it should start. And it should be public AND privately regarded.

Dr. Umar's message is right on point. Unity is the first priority. Without that, nothing else will happen for us. Unity first.
As far as this Umar is concerned, he speak with a lot of authority, conviction, and passion. There is no doubt in his expression. He teaches with confidence. His words may seem harsh, cynical, or extreme to those whose greatest wish is to lead their existence as visible minorities and assimilate in societies not of their own making but of peoples who are different from them and who never had a high regard for them or appreciated their contribution and indeed can be said to be the true villains and antagonists of their history, but they are true for all intelligent men and women who
comprehend that a collective group of people cannot lead a dignified existence, exersize influence, and command authority and respect without freedom, unity, independence, literacy, self-sufficiency, and nationalism in one nation separate from all other nations.

Then why do 80% leave marriages with black men?
The problem is most of yall choose the wrong man that’s why it ends up being bad decision. Yall need to choose better men seriously the wealthiest families don’t operate alone they support and build each other up from all angles financial or not. My Filipina girlfriend chose me and invested in me like I asked so I can make money from crypto. It finally paid off this year and I’m retired at 25. She’s next once the rest of the millions flow in next year. DR UMAR Talking pure FACTS!!!! #BittersweetPodcast
🎯

@@Divigne Someone finally see who he truly is. Here in North Philly everyone knows Umar can not financially take care of himself. Yes he has six degrees but he never established his own independence as a man. These women internationally don't know his North Philly fineness game, they need to do more research on Umar. This is why he believe a woman should hold him down and build him up, at 50 years old you should have at least the basics to take care your own self. He wants 2 mother's to take care of him. He is right. The Black man has to level up and stop playing with Black women. Be straight up! I agree with Dr. Umar.....
I've never heard a man say "a woman needs to be in my tax bracket" - We really be dating for love 1st. men are the true romantics, women are in business and that's nature I guess. Hypergamy then makes us as men make loads of money then not want to settle in a relationship with a woman who didn't want u when you weren't in the same tax bracket, a vicious and funny cycle loooooooooooooool i love it!
It's not natural of them at all no. That's why hypergamy conflicts with the call of nature to mate.
Yall are supposed to be the providers for starters that’s why yall wouldn’t think about that, let’s start there. Yall are not the true romantics if so we wouldn’t have the problems we do in the black community.
This interview with Dr.Umar appears to be the biggest interms of views. I was surprised to see that some of her videos only garnered ,142, 221,etc views!!
