Well also, if using ultralight or a light rod if using a stiff rod you can rip out the hook when you have a strike and set the hook to hard and with panfish, specialty crappie. A fast action limber tip will not do this and you can feel the light strikes. My personal best always for pan fishing a 6 to 8 foot spinning ultralight fast action and using 4lb mono, or even 3lb mono I've found of Amazon and a good quality ultralight reel rated under 6lb line. Good video and to all, tight lines 👍

we differ on the briad/ mono I hate mono😂 only rod that I have mono on is casting rod for spring fishing casting a cork I use to lose so many jigs with mono averaged 10 a day I changed over years ago to braid. Love it .... fall bite is on 🎣 good vid kid I like it👍

Idk I don't see the need for braid while fishing on ultra light rods .. I mean do 1000 series and 2000 series reels even work well with braid ? ... I use braid for 3000 series and up .. but that's a totally different application and totally different fish. ... I love braid... but not for most pan fish ... idk to each thier own I guess.

My friends and family catch thousands of crappies and perch using under $20.00 rod and reel combos from Walmart. Trout magnet/crappie magnet jigs either tipped with a gulp 1" watermelon pearl minnows, real minnows, or chartreuse bodied trout magnet plastics. Nothing fancy and we do better than 99% of the people around us....proven fact. 💪😎

I been Fishin B&M for a long time, Years ago I Had "Slaters" , I fish in Alot Of heavy Cover, so it's best to have as much control of the situation when I hook up with One as possible I hooked about a half dozen times this afternoon that I ended up losing it because of the snags they're in , Using Mono is just a catastrophe ,I switched to the 10.lb Power Pro Braid ,if in heavy Cover I tie straight to the jig ,if by chance I'm not in heavy Cover I will sometimes tie a line to line mono Leader ,but it's not often here I lose to much Tackle using mono , I like a little bit of backbone and a sensitive tip for that reason as well gotta get em Out Of the limbs ASAP , I didn't catch a big bunch this afternoon But What I Did Catch was some Home Run Slaboo Slammers ,I Got a dang good dinner coming Up this week one evening , The bite I Think got a little better After that Tiny shower of Rain ,we supposed to Get some more today according to the weather Man , I hope he's right , Looks like you got dinner in the Box Too , it just don't get any better, Preciate Ya 💦🐟🎣🤠🇺🇸

don't use split shots or braid which I can't stand as the tangles are killer. My SHSS is also great for jiggling jigs off of brush so I don't lose as many as most. when really stuck I grab line directly and pull do NOT use the pole.

You are too skilled to not make you own lures. The only mold you need is the "Do it 2.25 fry" get silver, black, chart, white, green, glitter
size.15 and .40 get the injection set, soft plastisol, a small microwave. It takes less than 10 minutes out of you day to pump out a few
baits for an outing. Stick to the basic colors, you can go crazy making baits you will never use. I rarely use colorant, just before
the mold is ready to inject add the glitter, than inject, just don't add too much glit, before each injection you should add more glit, when
your bait has that natural scale look, it just takes practice. You will never ever have to buy lures again! I can repeat one more time, get the "2.25 Fry" mold that is all you need. Do it allows you to earn points that will benefit you later, I actually redeem them to get more
molds which I barely use LOL. The fish are biting in the creeks more like October bite than late November, just one of those years. If
you cannot make the creek, just hit the lake early morning at your pre spawn spots best bite is early.
