It is a shame you cannot be for or against this topic as a farmer that you are. Bro, you need to get all your information before making a video about a topic with dire implications.

Mr. Man! concentrate on your core area. Nigerians are okay with hybrid and NOT GMO. Why is this only in Africa! Anyway, you're a civil servant with Federal Ministry, so I don't expect you to condemn government policies. Don't mislead your followers. Keep your information to yourself. We can all do our research on the internet.

Thanks for the information. If I may ask:
    1. Are the normal maize seeds still available?
    2. These maize grains we buy for planting, Oba 2 etc, are they GMO?

GMO is very bad. If not that our government is useless, they would protect our farmers. I'm in Benue and doing everything I can to get to the governor to beg him not to give this out to farmers. Just because something is coming from abroad doesn't make it better than what we have. I was in US for 30+ years and I saw the effects of GMO. That market is fighting back this is why they come to Africa. If it was good, they would have gone to Europe. That's how they operate. We, unfortunately, still think very low of ourselves and the politicians are the worst.

This video is just for awareness and information.... I didn't express any opinion about GMO being good or bad

You said there is no confirmed research that shows GMO is dangerous to health.
I think you are ignorant and have not done any research atall.
Just a small Google search will let you know the cancer risk of GMO.
