Thanks for this review! Since I'm kind of a fattie, I was anxious to purchase one of the "One Size Fits Most" brand name vests...but for some reason, the brand name sellers didn't provide sizing info, from which I could determine if their better quality product would fit me. The BassDash brand DOES provide that info...how large a waist it will fit.
Danny, what is the size of biggest, front pocket? Is it the same like Maxcatch Vest? Which vest do you think is better, Bassdash or Maxcatch? Thank you
It’s built pretty well. I figure it’ll last a few seasons. Obviously not comparing it to an Orvis Pro or something, but those are $250. This thing is a great deal.
I just got one for Christmas, been using a sling pack, but had been thinking about switching to a vest. Pretty excited about it.
I've owned one for a few years now. I really like it and would recommend it.
There is a dry fly holder on this vest, the bassdash velcro patch can be removed on the left front.
So this is the plain one, do you know if the Army Green With Hard Shell Flies Pockets style is better?
Does the fish logo on the pocket at the bottom come off?

it's around 8"x5". about the same as the Maxcatch. The two are super similar but I think the Maxatch wins out for that external velcro fly patch.
How durable is it?
