To those who are not aware of how the "challenge" rule works, (i only recently found out myself) the +4 isn't intended to be played whenever you want, but only if you have no other choice. When a +4 is played the receiving player can "challenge" the person who played it to see if they could have played a different card, if they could have then the person who played the +4 draws 4 and an additional 2 for playing it incorrectly, although if they couldn't have played anything else the accuser draws the 6 instead. (Kinda convoluted but i hope this clears things up)
So you get a punishment when you play the card randomly

What challenging means in UNO is if you think that the player who +4 you has another card that they could have put down but they decided to +4 you anyway, you challenge them, making them draw the +4 that you would have drawn.

Not exactly a card but only a color for example, a yellow 7 is on the table and you have a green 7 and a +4. You can use the +4. Basically +4 is completely safe to use as long as u don’t have the COLOR that is on the table because if the opponent chooses to draw he will draw 4 but if he chooses to challenge he will draw 6 as his suspicion was incorrect. If u did have a card that u can put down and u are challenged you draw four. Now how to use this as an advantage? [Case 1] Suppose on the table is red, you have many cards but no red (There are some cases that this happens, although very rare) in such case if you use a +4 u can trick the opponent as he would think you surely have a red and he challenges you and draws 6. Now if you get a +4 pay attention to the amounts of cards he has - More cards = challenge (still a risk as the opponent could also have the above case (case 1), less cards = draw 4. [Case 2] If you have the color that is on the table but very little cards, u can risk placing a +4 to make the opponent think that u don’t have another choice but a +4 therefore making him draw 4 to avoid having to draw 6. Again this case could work the other way around with them placing the +4.
Jelly however had misled slogo and crainer by telling them that they are not supposed to have the color they choose while playing the +4 and then later said that challenge is who has more of the color that is chosen. Josh kept declining/drawing although he could challenge.
So in conclusion, to avoid all risks, don’t use +4 unless you don’t have a card or u are forced to [Stacking].

THE CHALLENGE RULE IN UNO. You can only play a +4 if you don’t have the current color so challenging a +4 means you think the person that put down the +4 has the current color. If they do have the current color they pick up the 4 cards. If they don’t, the person that challenged them picks up 6.

If you think the player who played a Draw 4 on you has a card of the matching color, you can challenge this player. If you are right, this player must draw 4 cards instead of you.

If you challenge a card you are basically saying this to the person who played it: If you could have played a red/green/blue/yellow card you need to pick up 4 if you couldn't then I will pick up 6.

Fun fact everyone who said FIRST in the firsts fifteen minutes would think they are first because RUclips takes 15 minutes to load stats after a video releases
The challenge thing is if they really had to play the +4. for example, say the card in the middle is a green 5 but you don't have any greens or 5s so you play a +4, if someone challenged it you would win because you had no other option except for the +4. The opposite of this would be if you did have a green or a 5 but you chose to play the +4 anyways, if someone challenged this you would lose because you could've played something else.

The +4 challenge means that ‘do you think he/she still has that color’ if he/she has the color,the guy pick up 6 cards.If he/she doesn’t has that color ,you pick up 6 cards.By the way,i love your videos.

The challenge pretty much means that when someone plays a plus 4 to you, you can challenge them. If they have another card they could have played instead of the plus 4, then the challenger is successful and if that was the only card they could have played, the challenge is unsuccessful

In case you guys make another uno video, this is how Challenge ACTUALLY works: So The first Challenge, Slogo Threw a 4 and crainer Challenged it, Basically, A Challenge Is, Its luck, If u challenge it your basically saying, I know u have blue, Basically, The Way U win a challenge is if The One that threw the 4, had a blue, so the draw 4 have to be the only option u have, U cant just be toxic and throw a draw 4, the draw four has to be your ONLY option, besides picking up

The player who played the Wild Draw 4 card must show their entire hand and if they have the specific colour card in their hand, then they’ve played illegally and they must draw the four cards instead. But if they don’t have the specific colour card in their hand, then they’ve played legally and the player who chose to challenge must draw six cards instead of four.
