    Removing the lower arm is the hardest part of this. Should have made that part the clearest.

    They definitely don't make this easy to remove. Just to clean the filter. Trying to figure out how to get mine removed so I can get it cleaned. Dishwasher looks like it's back from the '80s. Unfortunately have to figure out a different one It's close to this but it's different still.

      Yes it’s tougher to remove the sprayer arm if you’ve never done it before. Much easier in newer models

    I have that same exact dishwasher and I followed the steps and it’s still not draining. Do you have any advise on what I should do to drain and stop the smell?

    • @BStride
      @BStride  3 месяца назад +1

      In short term can press cancel and should drain - does it drain when do this?
      would check first the drain hose for a blockage if you pull the grate up many times you may find broken glass and other items down there, old paper and food would cause a smell

    I’ve learned that water should be sitting in drain to stop the seals from drying out, but what if it’s looking out of the drain and smells really bad. Is there kind of filter that can be pulled out and cleaned? I can’t find anything on what to do at this point

    • @BStride

      That’s the toughest part carefully reach the flathead or butter knife into the hole on back as in the video and bring the handle of flathead screwdriver towards you which essentially pushes the holding plastic tab towards the back of the dishwasher then you can pull up on the sprayer arm assembly while doing this

    Careful with that tab when you remove the spray arm or return the filter. It breaks easily and I had to modify it to have something to hold the spray arm in place. Piece of $h17 engineering!
