so far, i've seen 9 films of films by luchino visconti with "ludwig" as a most recent blu-ray i just bought plus a short relating to "death in venice" that i have on blu-ray set to be watched as well. i'm getting closer to finishing up his filmmography. while i prefer fellini, antonioni, and leone. visconti is among as one of my favorite italian filmmakers.
