Celty is an important entity tho definitely not the main character,main character is that "Mikado Ryugamine" is the main dude,basically best way for me to explain it to you is imagine if death note level plot twists merged with bungo stray dogs like crazy characters except the personalities in this one are even more crazy with ton of plot twists,gang wars,factions within factions forming,a little supernatural happens here and there and at this point im convinced that there isn't a single sane character in the show XD before durarara,death note,bungo,parasyte the maxim and a few others were only ones i put as better than big 3,but durarara shot to the very first spot for me,like its the best anime you will ever watch
My favorite is 4 because its sung by one of the characters and he's "hidden" throughout the whole opening. I say hidden in quotes cause he's pretty obvious if you're looking for him. Also I'm glad youtube started recommending you to me again, I enjoy your reactions.
I love durarara the author is pretty good at taking many different characters and events and somehow connecting them all together into a cohesive story. The main character is supposed to be the black hair boy but he's the least interesting person in the show and technically everyone is a main character. it's a good show.
Mikado is definitely not the least interesting. You may not have been paying attention. He tries to be unassuming (at least in season 1) but he is certainly not uninteresting.
@@thewingedserpent5823 He wasnt as interesting in the start as he was hiding his identity. I didnt mean that he is a boring character I was praising how much bizarre other characters were. Mikado in comparison is the "normal" guy in a city full of gangs, monsters, and supernaturals. I realized the way I said it was wrong I meant that it only gonna get more interesting and bizzare from the characters already introduced.
The thing is, the motorcycle girl is supposed to be the protagonist in the author’s eyes, but he kinda gave the wrong impression and made another guy the protagonist instead, even if it’s just by name Also my favorite is definitely OP 4, I believe you can see why in the other comments cause it has good directing and a great song, even though I like OP 1, the directing is easily the worst imo Also, if only you could see what’s under that helmet

I'd say Mikado and celty share the MC spot. In terms of protagonist I think there can be arguments made for either one.
