I really want/need to say this before watching this... Imran was my 1st bollywood crush and I was crazy about him I used to collect newspaper cuttings of his pictures imagine the level of fan I was and still I am a big fan...I love him and after so many years now he is getting the kind of recognition and love from people he deserves. Thank you so much nikhil and weareyuva for doing this I watch all your videos they are enlightened to me.💜
The one thing I really love about your podcasts is that. There’s no rush, that feels so calm & makes me wanna listen more. Like you really are interested in that conversation. Plus, Imran Sir, took these small pauses while making a conversation a lot of times & man genuinely I love that. It makes me want to listen more carefully to him. Thank you for this!
Always wondered where he disappeared to. So glad to see he's doing good now and planning a comeback. He and his movies were always a delight to watch ❤❤❤
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE how Shah Rukh Khan is mentioned in the kind shoutouts at least once in EVERY SINGLE Be A Man Yaar episode. It will only be fair to have him as a guest soon 😩🤌🏻
38:13 to 42:00 hats off to you imran.. it's require a lot courage to speak what you exactly been through and thanks for reallining your thoughts and drags your own self out from that dark phase..very proud you.. God bless you and your precious daughter...
Very relatable with the point where he says he has stopped watching cinema that disturbs him. I too discovered that, i hd a hint bt i thought it ws normal to be disturbed by such scene but it ws in my later 20s where i realized, i get more disturbed and happen to absorb that feeling more deeply than others and it disturbs my inner peace for longer than any cinema should. So since last 2-3 yrs i have absolutely stooped watching movies that might disturb my mental peace. If has brought very much difference. I watch mindful cinema... sparing my mind the disturbance it doesnt need to endure.. Thankyou for sayin it loud.
I feel you Ma'am.... the same happens to me as well. While some say that 'it was just a film dude'.... but it gets very difficult for me to get that out of my head. I really got too much absorbed and disturbed after watching movies like Kabir Singh, Animal or movies with heart wrenching endings like Laila Majnu.
I spent the the best time watching you both talk, I love love love how Imran is so open and raw about his hard spots of life, we can clearly see him finding the right words and I just wanna say i am proud of every single man who learns that he needs therapy and works on changing himself. Life doesn't comes with a guidebook and the best we can do is consume some good media to learn from other's mistakes. Thankyou so much for sharing this with the world, this is why I pay my internet bills. Can't wait to see you back in theatres :) And wish you a happy healing journey
Wow!!!!! Imran is a very Intelligent and the such beautiful human being! Hugely commendable to speak all this in a public space. Not just putting it out but also In most sensible way! Only a genius can do that ❤ and what a bravo 👏 😍❤. I wanted to stop watching to comment it. Couldn’t stop applauding his sensibility and genuineness . You daughter is gonna grow great just like you don’t hv to worry about that sending 💕
I have always loved Imran since my school days. All his movies are such a delight to watch even till today.... I am feeling so sad to know whatever happened to him. I really got teary eyed in some parts while listening to him. Without doubt he is a beautiful person inside-out... and a doting father as well. One thing I didn't get is, do we leave someone if he/she is diagnosed with depression or having a tough time, if it's our parents, sibling or child??.... Then how come his wife could decide onto separation just because he didn't have work or both of them were not growing together. Partnership is all about cheering up and not losing hope during the tough times. I don't favour separations if the partner is not toxic or abusive... rest ups and downs are part n parcel of life. Nevermind though, I pray this from all my heart that Imran does make a strong comeback and never lose that purity and simplicity of his. Wishing him good health, happiness & success in abundance always.❤
Imran khan! Thank you for this interview. You have no idea how many lives you've changed. I'm in depression too. Therapy dint work for me unfortunately. But I can relate to what you're saying. It's so refreshing to see an actor be so honest. I have a newfound respect for your parenting. So proud of you!
I learnt so much about myself after listening them both talk about their 'feelings'.....it was relatable. Thank you for putting it in words ❤ & helping me understand my feelings n thoughts better. One thing i realised from your videos nikhil is that we all should talk about our feelings/internal thoughts more often than we do. Thanks again n looking forward to more such enriching experiences 😊
The first time i watched this movie was in 2008 when it just came out i was 6. Since then i always go back to it. Bachpan me tou bas dekh k comfort milta tha kuch samaj ata tha kuch nai ab 22 ki hogyi hun tou life ne thora wise kardia hai. Just recently i watched it again and saw how beautifully unique every character is. Also have you ever noticed how if sawtri aunty never ran away from ranjhor, you wouldnt be this soft lover boy you would be exactly like bageera or sushant a narssisisitic man. I think this detail is so easy to miss but so thoughtful for real. I also think sushant had the perfect appearance and facial symettry for the narc he was.
First of all, Thank you Nikhil and Imran sir for this wonderful podcast. Secondly, Nikhil sir thank you once again for bringing Ekk Main Aur ekk Tu !! Would love to see Imran doing something like that.
This conversation and Imran's words are so abstract I am not sure how much help this is to anyone, What was his diagnosis? Major depressive disorder? Or something else? What prescription medicine was/is he on? Did the medicine or therapy help more?
Nowadays people talk about mental health and therapy so much but what about the people who can't afford going to therapy and not everyone can be the best therapist you can encounter...
Well maintained body❤ nice hair cut🎉🎉 inspiring for 40 plus guys🎉🎉 this is how you have to keep yourself when things go wrong way. Clammer peaceful and nothing should touch you - failures for sure❤ The best role he can do is of mr. Bajaj in ekta kapoors serials- rich decent guy with good dressing🎉🎉
Who cares if it's a PR move or not? If you like his movies then watch them, if you don't then nobody can force you to watch it.. At the end, whether it's a PR move or not has no bearing on our lives.
@@ConfusedTraveler555 lol !! and there are 1.4 billion people in India? Why would I listen to a South Bombay guy being honest? There are plenty of honest people out there. How old are you? 12?
@@nikhilsahay895when influential people or people who are somewhat still in the limelight talk about toxic masculinity, it normalizes it for others. There may be a billion people in India but I don’t see many of them talking about this, especially men.
@@easyveganfoodie I take your argument on that account, need more people to talk about this. Kudos to Nikhil for this podcast. But this is Imran's return PR trope (did not work for him), I would judge him on acting, not on his masculinity/vulnerability.
Why is this guy being shoved to us by the PR. He was a bad actor with a generic personality having nothing to add to the conversation and is irrelevant today. Better artists should be given space.

He actually doesn't have any PR, any manager, any agency. He's just a good guy who shows up to have a heart to heart when you call him ❤️
@@tanejamainhoon of course, he fired em all coz they were crazy!

Please take Fardeen Khan Here
Imran is saying: I am back, I am not a better actor than before but atleast I am vulnerable.
What a rich loser
Atleast he is being honest about himself! Learn from him maybe!
